I have a fortune plant and the one they called money tree however both are gifts from friends and family. I don't believe that plants can give you luck. I take care of these plants because they're gifts from someone I respect and love and there's nothing more to it.

This is a belief of our fellow friends from other country, as you said, so let us respect their belief. Personally, there is nothing wrong if we buy this tree or not but we should not depend solely on it for us to have a better life. We have to do our part. Considering I bought a hundred of this plant yet I am not doing anything to find a good job or other activities which might be of help in order for me to have income, then I think nothing will happen. Have a nice day!

I have never owned a money tree nor do I believe in them however I find them quite charming. I'd consider picking one up though since I find them aesthetically pleasing.

i do not believe in such things because its you who should work and get money but not a tree and also it is always god who bless you to get more money. those guys just want to get money from people who are naive and desperate. consider them as a scam.

I don't believe in a specific plant. But if all of your plants are flowering irregardless if it's the most inconspicuous plant that you have, it then represents abundance. I believe this because when all my plants were flowering, money or blessings were pouring in. Plants absorb energy, so if the energy around them is good and productive, then they give a lot of flowers. The idea behind this has something to do with a good harvest. Now, for that money tree it has more to do with commercialism than the truth.

Hello asliah, it's jut one of those superstitious things that people wants to believe in order for the business to bloom. unfortunately, since this is a chinese belief, i don't think it's wise to spent something for me that actually has no clue for what's it's purpose, except gives you oxygen in exchange for your Co2.I do water plants at night

I don't think this is true with the money tree. We do have one on our home before and it even grew really tall but nothing happens. They say if the flower is yellow there is money, but it the flower is red it means you will have no money. But, even if the flower is yellow, we still don't have any luck. These beliefs might be true for others, but for us, it's not. We take care of our plants by watering it everyday.

If that is true my friend, everybody will buy money tree. In order for one to have lots of money, she/he has to work hard . Without that, we will not have enough money. Indoor plants needs to be once in a while have some sunlight, so they have to be put outside sometimes. They also have to watered regularly.

I don't believe in this superstition belief but I like to have one and grow it inside the home. But I believe that dreaming or wishing for money with lots of hope and prayers do come true. You've just need to be positive in all time

I do believe in luck. Now I do not have a tree but, if I were to have one the way I would take care of it would be the same way I treat people, Respect. I would honor it because of the belief it brings me through out of my life. I would even pray over it to continue to bring me hope through thick and thin. You have to have a good connection. Without that connection there is no belief and with no belief there is no hope. I would create some values to keep me devoted to the plant and keeping a positive around it.
