What is the essence of having a frined?

I am so lucky and truly blessed that i found a real friend. I never thought that one day im gonna need a friend's hands to lift me up. It never came up to my mind and neither expect that he will going to lend his hands and saved me from the situation where i was once before. I am very lucky to have him as my true and genuine friend ever. I hope that one day somehow, somewhere at the right time and at the right place i can return the favor. Thank you my dearest friend!

Jesus Christ said that the greatest love there is is 'that a man give up his life for his friends.' I think that--by 'give up his life'--He meant "throw away 'his time' (or whatever other treasure his life may have) in order to support his friends."

True essence of friends is when they sees the wrong in you but never leave you. True friends are the ones who never let you down, they will guide you when you lost your track and hold your hands when you are weak. Friends are people who stays through thick and thin without the vows of lifetime.

It's good to have real friends around :) And yes, they are not supposed to be with you on your happy times but even when you are very low, that's when you will realized who are willing to stay by you. That even if you fail, these friends will be there to help and not make fun of your situation :"] Cheers!

Yes, you are truly blessed to have such a genuine and kind friend. We should appreciate our friends as true friends are not many to come by. Only when we are in troubled that we realised who are our real true friends. I hope you will keep this friend no matter what. I always remembered and appreciates those friends who are really kind to me when I am in need.
