Resident Evil: Retribution

Spoiler alert!!!:Yesterday I have seen the new Resident Evil movie, Retribution. I think it was a great movie with a lot of well made special effects. I was thrilled to see that they brought into the movie some of the characters from the game. I liked very much the actress who played agent Wong, I liked her even more than the character from the game. But I was quite disappointed by Leon from the movie. Maybe excepting the hair, he didn't looked at all like the character from the game :(. Anyway it was a great movie and I hardly wait the next. What was your opinion about the movie and actors?

I have not seen it yet.. i am really having doubts since i didn't even get to finish the previous movie.. I didn't like the story that much and everything was just getting old. i only liked the first 2..

It is getting old for me. I like only the first Resident Evil. I thought that was the scariest movie of all the Resident Evil movies. Now it's like a rehash of Alice fighting the zombies and it's really getting quite boring.

Hello dear movie watcher and gamer.
I have to say that I also was dissapointed by the movie of the series, as I was especting, well I don't know what really, but something more. I liked the first movies of the series, but this one was pretty low when compared, and I am not surprised to see it's gotten as low as 5.2 on imdb rating.

i didn't see the new resident evil movie in many cases the story in the movie version is so and so may eb excluding the 1st chapiter the other ones didn't appeal me much so i hope that from this point of view they improved because special effects normally are ok even on the movie version!!

I'm really not aware of the game but I sure got to watch the movie series Resident Evil. Considering the fact that I'm scared of watching horror movies since they tend to linger on my mind longer than usual and scares the living daylight out of me. I feel like the special effects on the movies were tastely done.

I've watched the movie too about three weeks or a month ago. I would say that I was quite disappointed with the movie compared to the previous releases. One of the biggest fallback was their choice of actor for Leon's character. When I saw that guy, I was shocked that I almost couldn't eat. Yes, that is how bad that guy looks and he has nothing on him aside of his hair which resemble Leon in the game. Leon in the game is way much cooler.
Yes, the actress acting as Ada Wong is definitely gorgeous. I watched about two movies she acted in. One would be Resident Evil Retribution and the other was Detective D, a Hong Kong movie.
I really hope that they would come out with another sequel but this time make sure that change the actor for Leon.

The ONLY redeeming factor about this movie is the special effects. The story is so lame and uninteresting. Watch it for the special effects and the fighting scenes. Apart from that, don't expect any great story line or plot.
