Back in Jan I fell or tripped over one of the animals when I went to the kitchen to get a drink of water. Any way up until last week I could call the Dr and get a pain prescription called to my pharmacy. But the Dr could not renew the prescription until I saw him again. Any way before I went in for the appointment I decided I would write down the other things that were giving me problems. Now the Dr I had before left the practice or clinic to work closer to where she lived. that last visit was the best one I had had with her in the two years I was seeing her. Now I didn't think I was going to like her replacement but I had a good visit with him. He really listened and he made me two appointments right off the bat. and attempting to get mr in to a different Rheumatologist. The one I have been seeing just blows any thing I have talked to him about. So do you like the Doctor you are seeing? I'm going to send him a Christmas or thank you card.

I know what you mean, I didn't much like the rheumatologist I saw all those years ago, part of why I didn't go back. Now I'm going to a pain clinic, and while I might be happier with them, they are only at the location I want to go to two days a week, at least they went out of their way to find a med I could take!

I knew a lady with lupus who had to have 2 surgeries on her hands. She had little grip with them, and they still weren't "pretty"

Yea it one of the problems we must deal with. My hands are so clumsy and I have no strength in them. I have my kids open packages and jars for me.

I bet he'd really appreciate getting a card from you. I do like the doctor I am currently seeing. Finally, after years of pathetic doctors I found one I liked. My choices were limited. I actually only got this doctor because my old doctor got arrested and I had to pick a new one.

It is hard to find a good Dr. This morning on a news program their doctor contributor stated that there won't be many GPs when Obama care kicks in. We will be seeing nurse practitioners instead of Dr. Most of the Dr will be specialists because of The expense of starting up an office. and having to pay so much for school. I have nedicare and medicade my old Dr was moving and she told me that she got $10.00 form and $20 from the other. I'm surprised that any Dr take us with that kind of pay.
