It is just a street dog breed but i love it.. I always get the street dog puppy when i want a pet dog. What do you prefer when it comes to bringing pet dog at home? He is doing good now and is following me around everywhere. .. I love him..he is black and white mix. hey but the interesting part is his one eye brow is white and other black..hahah ..good day everyone

That is wonderful! I think street dogs can become the most loyal companions. I have two dogs as well, both saved from animal shelters (so basically they were found on the street by someone), and it's really worth it! Having pets makes life so much more fun! :)

so glad to hear that you got a puppy three days before. dog can know who is his owner if you keep him a long time. It is really funny to hear your pet dog has different eye brow. Will it look strange? I have never seen this kind of dog before.

Actually we went out the other day and I had tied it at the back side porch and when i came back i could see only one side eye brows and I thought maybe something bit him or something that is why one side eyebrow is not there anymore. It is night so I could not see the black brows. I had not noticed it before that..haha it was crazy to learn it. He does not look strange but it is yes very very funny.. haha Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I have a dog. It's a black mini dachshund, one year old. His name is Rambo but we call him Chambo. A little boy tried to call the dog but he couldn't pronounce the letter R so it sounded like Chambo. On his first day, he is super quiet and likes to cuddle my arm. He's about as tiny as my arm, also long as my arm. He's a sausage dog! Anyways, after being comfortable he started to become one hyper active dog. I love him very much. We bought the dog to someone who breeds dachshunds. I would love to bring street dogs at my house if I have my own ranch. I know my parents won't allow me adopting pets.

I like all dogs they do not have to be a certain breed, I have many mix breed dogs and alot are very smart dogs. I have a yorkyraine which is part yorky and pomeraine a very tiny dog, I also have a boxer, very smart and they both are sweet and kind, just like a family..to love them and regardless what breed..I have had alot of mixed breed dogs and street strays in my past and loved each one of them and in return they have been wonderful friends and always around..

dogs parade - a parade of dogs in our area
Nice, so you mean that you have adopted a dog? well that's so nice to hear because there a lot of street dogs around and they should have a foster parent to adopt them. good thing you have decided to get a dog. a dog is a man friend and they really have a loyalty.

Mutts are generally healthier than purebred dogs (or cats). I believe in rescuing, all the critters in the house are rescued.

Preiti - She walked into our life one fine day.
We always had pedigree dogs, starting with a Dalmatian, then a Bull Terrier and so on but somewhere along the line this thought struck me that stray dogs are equally good or even better and this thought coincided with a wee bit of a pup that walked into our life. She is now 5 years old and a bundle of joy although initially she had to be tamed down quit a bit.

You did a good thing when you decided to adopt a street dog. He would have probably end under some car's tires if you didn't adopt him. I think he must be very cute with that black and white face. Why don't you put a picture of him for us to see him?

Whatever breed we have to love our dog. They are good pets. I have 3 at home. One is staying inside our house and the other 2 are in our yard. They meet me whenever I arrive from work and when I go out for work they bark and bark.

Congratulations on your new puppy! I'm sure both of you will have a lot of fun together. And you're a very good person to adopt a stray. Many people tend to disregard strays thinking that they are inferior to purebred dogs, but of course this is untrue! Stray dogs also tend to be healthier than some pure breeds as they don't have a much health conditions since the weak genes aren't continually reproduced (especially if it's a bad line). Hope you have already brought him to a veterinarian for a check up. He will probably need to be dewormed and be given an anti-rabies shot. Enjoy your new pet!

You didn't say what his name is. I am glad you got a dog, they can give you so much joy and happiness and unconditional love. They become part of the family and you get so attached to them.

Awww i love new pets. I just got a puppy myself. It was quite expensive though. $800 to be exact but this dog is priceless to me. It is a teacup yorkie and I love her. She is like my child. She will be spoiled rotten lol
