Some years back I have started a discussion on "Do you take anything back from hotels as souvenirs?" Now I would like to discuss on " Do you take anything back form aeroplanes as souvenirs?" I think most of us will take newspapers or magazines. How about blankets or toothbrushes or pens, etc, eh?

Hi, I take sometimes newspaper. But generally I don't take anything from plane. But it is nothing wrong in taking something as a souvenir.

Hi, to take newspaper back is alright. it is meant for you to take back. Even airline magazine is for you to bring back. In fact it is stated it is complimentary for your reading pleasure. Thanks for your response.

I have takken a small knife some years ago. I still have it. It is wonderful for butter and cheese when there`s company. It is also a conversation peice, as it has the logo of the aircraft. I always take magazines if I find them useful. I am not as interested in blanbets as they can be bough cheapily anywhere. The same goes with toothbrushes and pens. Idon`t feel that I have been a thief: their charge is more than enough to cover that.

Hi, Items like toothbrushes or shavers or combs are for our personal use. These are disposable toiletries. Once you use them and leave behind the airlines will throw them away, anyway. They do not reuse as it is an unhygienic practice. Pens, postcards playing cards and magazines or newspapers are complimentary. Thanks for your response.

It has never really crossed my mind to take any item from the plane. I guess I grew up knowing not to take anything that isn't mine.

I think the newspapers are meant for the passengers to take if they want to. Toothbrush? Well I guess if you have used it, I don't think they would want it left there. I don't know how one can take a blanket when it's such a big piece. I've never tried taking anything from the planes. It would be a shame if get caught.

I agree with you. Newspapers are meant for the passengers to take back with them if they choose to do so. Airlines also provide complementary airline magazines for their reading pleasure. Toothbrush with toothpaste, shaver and other small toiletry items are to be given away. These are disposable and are unhygienic if the airlines reuse or recycle these products. I appreciate your response.

Hello, you means you don't take newspapers or magazines. These are free and are for your reading pleasure. Some airlines even print at the corner of the magazine, " It is free."
