last semester, we had to present something that in general for our English class.
i really like my friend presentation
she talk about people micro expression .
micro expression, i can make it simple, is certain expression that someone do when react to the surrounding or event .more on the changes in someone face in just one second.
2 expression i want to share
1- sadness- that person -dropping upper eyelids / losing focus in eyes / slightly pulling down of lips corner
2- surprise - eyebrows raised (but only in 1 second, if not she/he only try to be surprise) / eyes widened / mouth open
there still a lot other example she share with us.. but i think i share 2 with u. hehhe

Yes people do difference faces to express what actually their in their mind or feeling about the person who is standing in front of them. Face Reader can read what actually the person thinks or has in mind by just looking at the person face.

The face is the window to our emotions. You cannot hide what you really feel because your eyes, mouth, eyebrows etc. will have a certain way of looking when you feel something.

The most genuine expression are those from kids.
Yes, facial expression has different meaning and sometimes it's hard to tell what exactly does it mean.
Nice share :)

Hey ungu,
Micro expression is really some thing very special. No matter how we try to hide our real feelings, it is said that within the first one or two seconds of hearing the news, our face will betray us and it will change to show our reaction. However, this might not be visible to the naked eye.
I have heard that in recent years, police officers have been using this technology to check if people lie.

Hi friend, good to know about this project. Really your friend did a great research in facial expressions and submitted her report. It is quite interesting.

It is already proved that it's dangerous to believe everything they say about micro expression. There are plenty of other reasons why people drop their upper eyelids or losing focus in their eyes (illness, being tired for example!). It's the same with body language and for example what they say about people who lie! (turns out these signs are more common with peole who speak the truth as with liars). Also there are people great in training these signs to fool you. Yes even in a second. This besides of the fact that most people are not able to observe somene else or listen to that person at all (the sound of the voice tells us a lot as well). Face expression alone will never say enough about anyone.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is absolutely great to hear about your friend's presentation and i am sure every one would have enjoyed the presentation in the classroom.
This presentation comes as a surprise for me as i have never thought that such minute thing can be made into a presentation. Great effort by her and i think it is too difficult to encompass all types of human expressions.
What say?
