Apparently Obama is planning to end his first term like the has carried it out to this point, that is no compromising and always blaming others. His plan now is to not compromise and let the country go over the fiscal cliff and then blame it on the Republicans. Meanwhile he is flying all around wasting taxpayer money pushing his no compromise agenda.

well of course he is--after all, the whole thing is Bush's fault, isn't it? . He wants what HE wants--tax the 2%, infinite debt ceiling, Obamacare, dependency, unlimited entitlements, nationalization... nothing new, he just has 4 more years to get it now. Unfortunately.

Yeah, and he said he wasn't going to raise taxes on the middle class...and he isn't...directly. What he is doing is taking away the mortgage interest deduction on your 1040's. starting in 2014...you can't deduct your mortgage interest...which means you can't deduct it from your gross earnings..which means it stays in your adjusted gross which is what your taxes owed is based on. No, your taxes you pay aren't going up, but HOW MUCH you pays taxes on is going up!

Well, they haven't finalized that one yet, but I am sure they will at some point. Obamacare is also raising the starting point for deducting medical expenses from 7.5% of adjusted Gross income to 10%--and changing the way you use your FSA account if you have one. There are a LOT of taxes coming up in the next few years that will be difficult to take--and Washington accounting is still going on in the fiscal cliff debate-- what the administration is calling "cuts", are not--they are limitations on future spending. I wish I could get away with that kind of math LOL.

Yeah, forgot about those. They'll all go through cause the Senate will sign them and the House will cave and go along with it. No, no taxes raised...but he failed to mention he was raising the amount of earnings we will have to pay taxes on! People didn't get that before the election, and sadly are starting to get it now....albeit to late

Of course he is going to blame the Republicans....he can't blame Bush anymore so the Republicans are what is left for him to blame. Once the Dems win the house in 2014...he won't have anyone to blame and then things are going to get hot and spicy!

You say that as if it is a done deal. (the dems winning in 2014) I surely HOPE it's not a done deal. But then, they stole this presidential election, perhaps they really have got the 2014 election in the bag already!

This is typical Obama politics, and I am not surprised. Let us also remember that not only will he not compromise, but rather will not agree to any deal that does not meet his demands, he also is demanding that our borrowing limit be increased in the deal as well. This makes no sense as he has already said that he is both prepared and ready to let the nation go over the cliff if all of his demands are not met. At the same time, Obama claims that he wants Congress to compromise on a deal to prevent us going over the cliff. Honestly though how is giving in to Obama's demands any form of compromise? And how in the world does it make sense to raise the borrowing limit and spend more when we already cannot pay our debts? Honestly I think that Obama is secretly hoping that a deal will not be reached thereby forcing the nation over the cliff and into even greater financial difficulties. Only time will tell.

I've said it before, will say it again; he's deliberately ruining our country. And yes, I think his goal is to also do away with the Republican party. A ONE party country fits in nicely to the socialist program he's constructing now.
