New Fantasyland expansion

On December 6, the Magic Kingdom in Disney World officially opened parts of the Fantasyland expansion. The expansion doubles the size of Fantasyland and includes Storybook Circus, a Beauty and the Beast section and a Little Mermaid section. Other attractions such as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Coaster haven't opened yet. Has anyone been there yet? If so, what did you think of it? Do you like the idea of this expansion or would you have rather seen Fantsyland kept as it was?

Can't wait to see it. We usually go every year but we moved across the country and this year we decided to go to Disneyland in California since it was closer. I was very disappointed with that park. Disneyworld is so much better and I can't wait to see the new attractions. Thanks for sharing this info.

I would love to get out to Disneyland. Carsland looks great from what I saw and heard online. World of Color also looks amazing. Did you get to see any of those?

Yes...Disney World is much bigger and I assume the Magic Kingdom is probably bigger to as a park. I would love to see Disneyland. Although it might be smaller, I hear it is a more intimate park and enjoyable in different ways. Plus they just built Carsland which looks incredible.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is really exciting to know about the extension of the Fantasyland. I think it will help in attracting the kids to have a game over there.
I do not think it will mar its charm and in fact the management people would have thought something due to which they might have taken this decision. In fact it will be useful in attracting the visitors as they would be excited to know what all have been added to the existing ones.
