How Long Will It Be til We Start Issuing Firearms to Little Preschool Students?

I don't think we ever will. But tragedies like Connecticut whip Americans into a frenzy---compelling us to make many coarse decisions. And (a USA Today-article says) most mass-shootings take place in 'gun-free zones' (such as schools, parks, libraries etc.)
The solution I see: security-officers with clearance to carry guns in gun-free zones (on their person at all times, so that no crazy people can find them & take them---as the Connecticut-person did from his mother, a teacher who had FIVE guns locked-away somewhere).

They train security-officers not to go crazy (brain-techniques for keeping cool and only using force as needed).

That won't help either.Th shooter will just shoot the guards first. There is no way to keep us as safe as wee Think we are.
