Do you count your calories every day with what you eat or do you just eat and not worry about the calories your putting into your body? I don't count what I eat, I just eat what I feel like eating for the most part. Now my husband he just started to count calories everyday with what he eats to help him lose a little bit of weight as well as getting in to shape for his fitness test to become a police officer.

I normally like to look at the calorie content of what I'm eating. Before I never did and just ate whatever I felt like eating but recently I guess I have become more concerned with self image and I would like to stay healthy and at a good weight so I do look at them. I don't try and restrict the foods I eat but awareness of what you're eating is always good. If I'm given the option between two appealing foods but one has significantly lower caloric content then I will definitely go with the one with lower calories. It's never bad to at least be a little mindful in my opinion and that's great that your husband is doing that to keep in shape. I wish him luck on his test!

calorie checking is good we can estimate and decide how many calories we take and this helps many to be in control while taking food.

I know that there are a lot of people that will count the calories of every single thing that they put into their bodies. However, this is not something that has ever worked for me. For me, I find that the method that works the best is to eat what I want to eat when I want to eat it, but I also have to always realize that I do need to eat those things in moderation. I've been able to lose a lot of weight using a moderation method as opposed to using an elimination method.

That's good. Very method works differently for everyone. Me have to worry about gaining weight not losing weight. It seem to be helping for my husband as well as working out a lot.

yeah I don't count at all but I don't need to lose weight so not much for me to worry about. My husband on the other he watches or at least keeps tracks of it so he can control how much he eats in a day to help lose his weight.

At the moment, I don't really count my calories. I pretty much just eat when I'm hungry and eat what I'm in the mood for. I used to count calories a lot, but I've really gotten away from it. I probably should start doing it again, but I just am not very disciplined at the moment. It is definitely really helpful for losing weight though, and it has helped me to lose some in the past. I think it's probably one of the most effective ways to lose weight.

I eat what I want with a care really. I don't count the calories that I eat nor look at the. I don't need to lose weight but my husband does which is why he is trying to watch closely what he eats as well as increase our work out amount. Well I don't think looking or watching what you eat is the most effective way to lose weight because it all depends on the person bodies.

I don't count the calories since I am already thin. It is too hard for me to pull on weights no matter how much I eat. Whereas my husband is the opposite. It is easy for him to gain more weights. He doesn't count on the calories anyway. Sometimes he will just try to eat less or do more exercises. But it is not so helpful anyway.

That sounds like me and my husband. I'm thin as well but my husband is on the heavy side. So far it's working for my husband be he does work on his feet lot so he is walking a lot of the time as well as going to the gym almost every week. This week we haven't gone because of the fact he is busy with work and has no days off beside being off on Monday.

I don't actually count the calories that I eat everyday, but I do know that at least five of the week days I eat under what they say that you should eat, mainly because I am busy working and don't have much time to eat. I do check on food stuffs how many calories there are in some foods and if I think there is too many claories then I won't eat that food. I hope your husband is doing well and gets into shape for his fitness test.

I know my husband can do it. He has already lose some weight at least he doesn't need to lose weight for his fitness test but he wants to so that he can run fast while he does his mile run which he has to do under 18 minutes. That is tough because I use to be able to do it under 15 but now it takes me just about 20 to 25 minutes to run it. I don't count my calories. I don't even look at calories.

Not really they are plenty of people that can eat what they want and still have there weight in control. It all depends on a person and there body since everyone has a different body type so different dietary needs are need. I never count my calories nor really look at them either. We don't each much grease food for a year since my husband has had his gall bladder taken out. I love veggies and fruit as well as my oldest child.
