WE can buy clothes from 2nh hand shops (ukay ukay). The quality of the clothes are good at lower price. I go to these shops if I have time and I am satisfied with the results. You don't have to spend much money to have nice clothes.

I agree with Aries. Hitting the thrift shops makes sense. You can buy several nice pieces there for the price of just one dress in another store. Not only is it cheaper, it also is better for the environment. Plus, it is fun to go thrift shopping. You never know what you might find in your explorations.

When my daughter was in high school, I could not afford to buy her a new evening dress for every occasion and for every school dance, etc. The whole high school was invited to the prom, so she needed a prom dress for each year - for a total of 4 years. So, we agreed that for grades 9 - 11, I would buy her two dresses and several different accessories such as a warm shrug and a light shawl so that she could wear her evening dress in different seasons. Her dress was pink and her warm shrug was black. Her light shawl was a very pale pink. Because her shrug and shawl were different colors but complimented her dress, she felt like she was wearing a new outfit for each occasion. For her prom and graduation, I bought her a new prom dress, another pink dress but even more special than her previous dresses. If you can't afford a new dress every time you go out somewhere special, a new accessory such as a shawl or jewelry can really make your special outfit look new and well, special for that new occasion.

Try learning how to sew. I love clothes too but the nice ones cost so much. Sometimes, I'm waiting for a sale before I shop. So I watched some DIY videos and began learning how to sew. I bought a second hand sewing machine and started with pillow cases and curtains. Then I started sewing shorts and simple dresses and the rest is history. Now, I'm looking for nice dresses then I just copy them. I'm sewing my own clothes and I saved a lot. The savings were for my shoes because I also love shoes.
