Learned to check out my mails.

Hey guys!
Ever since I created an email for a long time ago. I still remember, email is a great thing that I can contact with my friends and I always check out my mails. But once I got Facebook, I never went and check it out. Because I know that all the mails in my email will be all about Facebook. So I had never went and check anymore.
Even after having MyLot, I never learn to go check the mails from MyLot. I only learn to check it here, in MyLot, instead of opening another new tab to go to my emails to check it out. But now, I getting tired on searching response or comments one by one in here. I started to learn to go and check back my emails and clear of those useless mails I have so I can check my mails faster.
Any MyLotters here also never check their mails from MyLot in their emails?

Checking emails is good and everytime i feel like full of expectations.I check emails from mylot digest and also messages from friends.This is also one of the most common way for people to keep in touch.So i have such habit everyday checking.Probably people here love to receiving it from mylot.

sometimes i do, most of the times i don't.
i think that receiving notifications from Mylot thru email is ok especially those emails that contain responses to a discussion i started.

Just like you, I never did make use of my email on following up with the responses that I made. But have learned over time that the easiest way to be updated is through email. So I always have a window open for my email and another window open for Mylot. Works a lot better!

Yep! That really helps a lot! Even though sometime it is a bit annoyed to open 2 tabs and checking 2 tabs things. But at least it is much more better than checking in MyLot without any tips on whether this discussion got any new comments or not. It is only wasting more time than opening another new tab and check it out at my email. That save a lot of time!

I check my email daily. All kind of organisations use it and even bills are send to my email address. The post/letter is nearly not used anymore.
Also I would never send a private message/letter by facebook to anyone. It's still a public site and it can be hacked.
I find it strange you have an email address and you never use it. It is what I do at least once daily.

Email is very important to me. I could easily track the responses to my discussions and comments from myLot members. The notification from other sites would also go there so I don't need to open every now and then just to check the activities.
Also, I can open the discussion directly from my email and this is easier for me.

In fact, I seldom check my e-mails. SO many useless e-mails in my box. Last time, I found there are so many , so I tried to delete them, but as it will need much time to delete, so there are still many in the box. Now I just leave them there, I think that I won't check them anymore.

For me, I actually created a new email just for MyLot because I do know that MyLot do send mails like what Facebook does. With this new email, I do not want to create a Facebook account since I have my Facebook account at my first email. That is why I can check MyLot mails much more easy. I think if your email is a gmail, it will probably be much more easier since you can arrange the email in their own category. You should try it out!
