A girl end her life because police was harrshing and threatened by her rapist

A 17 years old victim suicide on 26th Dec. after one and half month because the police was harassing her not launched the FIR and the accused continues threatened to her and her parent say dont approach to the police.
Police was asking the foolish questions to her which type of cloth you wear while rape, where the men touch you etc. She feel embarrassing and harassing but when the rapist continues threatening to her so she commit suicide. I want to say imagine the this incident will happen with policemen's daughter then they can ask such worse questions. I think police are the responsible to improve such cases because not support the victim. She write a suicide not and tell who is forcing her for suicide. Really some women take such steps on the spot killed the accused

I'm sure police authorities have protocols to follow when doing investigations. Their line of questioning must be such that it will lead them to solving the case. I don't know if those type of questions helped, but it surely devastated the victim causing her to take her own life. Sad news.

I would like to quote one single line: It is known fact that Indian police department is the world's most corrupt and worst department in the world!! Off course there are some exceptions... but this the overall view of Indian police

You are absolutely right my friend whole Indian police department is corrupted only few persons are innocent but they cant do anything in front of such cruel police men. I think the women gathered in one place they should punished the culprits.

This is really sad.
This rape incident becomes so rampant all over the world.
If only the government will implement a quick process rule to punish the rapists- this will surely help to lower the rape incident.

This is really horrible and now the police are even harassing the victim. Then they will ask to marry the rapist? What for? To become a victim again and being killed later on? There are so many heartless men all over the world who tend to ruin the woman's life. I totally hope there would be such bill to punish those men. I just hope they will be tortured to let them know how it feels.
