Cartoons is the best past time for children, most especially because all cartoon characters are made in a way that they are appealing to a child’s eyes. Not to mention their graphic imagery and vibrant “child-friendly” colors. Also, they love to watch such show because they find it their own portal of imagination, they see cartoons as a dreamland where they can create a character that they want to portray.

Tell me about, my nephew will watch his favorite shows over and over again. However, if he cries, my brother would not let him keep watching TV. A few hours of TV are OK, but sitting in front of TV all day long is not good for their brain and eyes. Kids IQ can decrease from watching TV.

Kids are like that, they don't get tired watching their favorite movie over and over again. My son is also like that..he even mimic the dialogue, it's even odd that he already knows the dialogue of the whole movie, but still he never stops watching it all over again -lols.

my children never watched that and the youngest aren't either. They are always busy with creating, building, etc. During these holidays we decided to show them 1 or 2 films (Walt Disney or Warner Bross) a day. We watch them together. I can remember my eldest daughters were watching for months exactly the same movie (well I did that as I was a teenager with a song.. I can still do that if I like it). Must say my eldest know most texts and songs still by head.

Maybe you can give him something else to do other than watching tv? A little puzzle that the two of you can work on together? Some play doh that he can work with his hands? Some crayons or markers and blank pieces of paper that he can write on or draw. Find out if he likes some educational toys, legos, blocks or even check out the craft section in Walmart for some craft projects he might be interested in. Turn the music on and let him have some fun that way. Maybe he will lose some interest in the tv.

It is just kids nature ! Most brilliant kids are like that , though every line is memorize still they were still so eager to watch that kind of movie. Repetition got no big deal for them ! All beautiful in their eyes need to be repeated and be approved by us.

Once upon a time, a friend's son would watch tapes over and over. But he'd always rewind them when the credits ran. Well, we were watching Aladdin 2, I think it was, and his mom and I were talking about stuff while I sort of half watched the movie. He left the room just before the credits ran and there, after they ran, was another little bit of the movie! Its pretty much gotten so you can't leave a theater early, because too often there is something at the end!

Well it's normal for kids that age to really love cartoons. The positive thing about it is it helps them learn English more. Yeah it may be repeated episodes and all that I guess you just have to stretch your patience a little bit more.

All kids have their favorite shows, you will need to minimize how much he watches if you're no agreeing with it or he will always cry.

Hi friend... That kid never tired watching cartoon movies.. Even me I'm fond in watching cartoons or any kind of animations but sometimes kids need more interaction to some kids. I'm not an expert on this but I guess kid's Mom should set a limitations. I remember my niece we watched Highschool musical last Saturday but until now she's still eager to watch it again.Perhaps because of the moves and music on it... Thanks for sharing...!

I think it's generally normal for kids to have an interest in cartoons because of their entertainment value to them, but they will eventually need to learn to do other things. Watching televisions should only be done when you have nothing to work on. My parents usually limited my hours watching cartoons by making me do chores or homework first. When I was little, I hated my parents for doing that. But now, I am quite thankful because I learned to manage my priorities more efficiently. As kids grow older, they will also start to realize the importance of focusing time on other matters. However, if they don't, the parents need to be able to guide them.

hi friend I think, It is not good watching cartoons too much. there is no point in blaming it. I think it can be reduced If he play with his friends. My brother also like to watch cartoons and it is also too much. therefore I told him go to play with your friends. He enjoy it.

My three year old son watch the Disney Junior everyday and he would repeat his Mcqueen CD and Barney CD's all over again. Sometimes I'm really tired of wacthing and hearing them too. However, when I see my son happy watching them, I'm happy too. :-) God Bless
