Sometimes we fall in love because we love that feeling, sometimes we fall in love because we (think) we love that person (and we are blind for the complete person incl. habits, behaviour, demands etc). If this is too much and dating is already killing you, or love is over or it turns out to be different as you hoped, expected, dreamed of, quit with it. Do not go on with a relationship that is breaking you up. It's not fair against yourself but also not for that other person to hang in and not being able to invest.
