I wanted to increase my physical activity just so I could have a healthier body. However, I can't find anything motivational about exercising. What encourages you guys to exercise?

I dont think exercise as an exercise but fun. There are lot of ways to exercise while having fun. Like dancing. Dancing a whole 2 or 3 songs to begin with is fun and you dont think of it as exercise because your having fun but still youre doing the exercse. Hihihihi. And Exercise is fun with a friend if you really wanna have fun. That motivates me to exercise. Hope you enjoy dancing.

I got Just Dance 4 for Christmas. I've done it a couple of times but to keep up I only focus on what the arm with the controller is doing and not so much on what the legs or other arm are doing. It is fun and you do sweat. I prefer the games on Wii though as they are fun exercise and use many different muscles.

I like dancing too! I'm currently looking for a dance class or a yoga class so I can at least exercise through them regularly.

I have been going to a place called the T-Zone. It consists of moderate exercise on a vibration machine. You are using more muscles just standing there because you are trying to keep your balance while standing on a plate that moves up and down side to side. There are different speeds and you only need to be on for 10 minutes, then 10 minutes of massage which is a higher speed sitting on the machine. You are not allowed to be on it for more than 20 minutes a day as ruled by the governmental health department as 10 minutes on these machines are equal to 1 hour working out in a gym. After 10 minutes of exercise (standing, lifting weights, squatting, crunches) and 10 minutes of massage I go into the infra-red sauna for 15 minutes (which is the equivalent of 300 calories lost). It is the sauna that I love the most so I go to this place every week day. It's less than an hour out of my day... except that I like to chat. It's a good social place too and I learn healthy things. I have fibromyalgia (chronic pain, chronic fatigue). I used to walk on a treadmill for an hour every day. It was exhausting and painful. With this vibrational therapy I have no lingering pain afterwards. It's what gets me out of the house every day.

I am a male and I know I would have to be physically active to keep myself fit and healthy.Recently I was so busy with my office works that I could not take physical exercises.Consequently I lost my hunger and even a sound sleep.I started feeling lazy. There were piles of works to be done and I was not feeling like finishing them.I realized that taking physical exercise was an urgency and I can't fight shy of it if I want to keep myself physically and mentally fit and active. This feeling of urgency motivates me to take physical exercises regularly.
