I just logged onto Facbeook to message an old friends, she just moved back to Ontario. On my news feed a bunch of friends, had half naked picture. I really can;t understand this. You can tell most of the time they are in their bedroom, or bathroom, half dressed hanging out, taking pictures. I wonder are they just looking for attention, or just that stupid.

I think its more for attention than anything else. They want someone to tell them how good they look, or for someone to tell them how wrong it is for them to have those kind of pics up...Either way, their looking for some kind of attention from it. I would just move on and not comment at all, after all that is what they want!

Sometimes the pictures are beautiful and are more art then just a skanky girl showing herself off. Those I like. I like looking at the skanky girls half dressed lol but I think its pretty ridiculous they do this. I look good with my clothes half off to but I dont post it on facebook for everyone to see. I rarely put up pictures of myself at all actually.

Maybe they wanted to show their sexiest body. By the way, can I ask if they are all boys or girls? If girls, can I see quickly I am just kidding. Anyway, that one are very common now. People specially young ones or the teenagers do it always infront of the camera.

hi Ricki I am beginning to wonder how far people can go on Facebook before admins would smack them down?

I think, both! I mean, we showed be at least conscious and cautious with the kind of pictures that we post in Facebook. Pictures as such should be just kept in private. I don't think that all of us would want to be seeing such pictures everytimes. I'd rather see pictures that depict family, friends, and nature in an absolutely descent manner.

Yes, they should seeing as your friends can save them, then share them and so on. It's sort of sad some people don;t see this, and regret it after.

It is being completely irresponsible. And too bad for them, regret can only be felt after everything has been all over the net.

Hello Ricky. Well people who post this kind of pictures usually want to get attention because they do not impress in no other way - be it intellectually, with a really hot body or just cuteness.

I feel that there are lots of people of all ages putting photos like that up on face book and I do feel that in a lot of the photos it must be so they get loads of comments, or in some cases a lot of trouble. A lot of my sons friends that are school age have photos on there that are awful of them with lets say not a lot on, where as they are sick photos to me, as these are children that are posting their photos of themselves, as well as of their friends.

Obviously, they are both stupid and looking for attention, lol!! I have friends like that too, I just unsubscribed to their posts, it's really irritating and spoiling my day. Maybe they want to be in the cover of playboy magazine, I just don't like looking at them photos, really!

Probably a little bit if both, Ricki. Stupid and wanting attention. They could be setting themselves up for some attention they DON'T want.

they do it for attention.. but what they dont realize is that anyone can save the photos and upload them on other sites.. and the younger kids (under 18) that also do it, dont realize that there are pedophiles on FB and these pictures can go into the wrong hands. and most people have all their personal info on FB (address, phone number) and in the wrong hands something bad can happen to them.

Hi 911Ricki, It was in news three or four years ago that the sale of digital cameras have increased a lot since myspace has increased the number of pictures allowed from 8 to 16 or more I forgot. It is clear cut case of showing off to people what they are doing. I see today people taking pictures only thinking how it would look on facebook. I got a nephew who would always look for the pic of him taken and say hey it would look cool as profile picture or not. May be in this case too they were just trying to show off people how they are having fun or as you rightly said looking for attention and likes to their posts if not share.

I don't understand either with those people who are not aware of what the results of their actuation into that site. I also notice that my friend from Sweden, that he post photo's of naked woman in his profile. Ouch! Those people don't know that the site are visited by many peoples around the world and some of the users are children.

Wow that is crazy. Thankfully none of my facebook friends have posted any pictures like that. I think that the main reason may be that they are looking for attention and then its partly because they are insane. I don't even see how they can even be so brave to post up pictures like that on facebook. I know I wouldn't post pictures like that on my facebook. It makes you wonder where they even thinking when they posted these pictures.

Perhaps both, because everyone in their list will hit like button and from what I read, they feel proud when they get a bunch of likes, they feel popular. Maybe people feels no decency anymore because of what we've always seen on tv. Like movies and song videos where men and women are naked and then we can read or hear others praising them like how beautiful they are, this is encouraging people that it's ok to get naked and be seen by everyone.

Maybe they are hoping for you to reciprocate their half naked pictures by showing them your half naked pictures. Haha! Just kidding. Well. Maybe they think they can hook up with nice girls who will like them because if their body but the truth is, it doesn't work and it would be nice of you if you became a tool to let them know that they have to stop it. No one is turned on by their pictures especially that they take it in the bathroom and so and so. I think they do it cause a lot of people do it and they think it's okay. But it's not and I know I'm not the only one who thinks its not.
