We had our reunion of high school batch last December 29 and it did not turn out well. We were more than 50 students in the class and only 20 joined in the reunion . Four of them were my closest friends and we were annoyed because of the thought that we expected that those attendees are really for the whole section only but we noticed there were some attendees in other section whom were friend by our other classmates. Of course, some classmates of ours were been out of place because of those other section. Some are not party goer and just went there for the sake of get together. We were really annoyed so what my friends and I did was we escaped from that reunion and just did our own reunion. We went to my friend's house and did the jamming and the reunion turned out well and totally fun. Even if we were only few , still we enjoyed our get together. That night is really a good night for us. That's the only time that we've been reminisce our high school moments together before.

You should be happy that finally you can meet these 20 classmates and the reunion turned to be a success. I know you hope all or most of them can come and you can get together. It is a precious moment to reunite after a long time apart.But may be some of them are really not available that time,while some may not want to attend this kind of reunion.The choice is theirs.Anyway,forget it.When reuniting next time,have fun no matter how many people come at last.

I've never been to my own reunion. I've been to my hubby's reunion. It was ok, simply because I don't know any of his former classmates and they don't know me... I guess being a lil shy in social situations doesn't help either.

Hi kokomo, my reunion will be held soon. I felt quite nervous to join but i maybe i will just go for my business networking. I heard some are very successful so i maybe try meet them

Hi friend, good to hear about your get together, but i wonder why some of your classmates are doing such kind of unwanted things, as you all meet after a long time and it is the time for enjoyment, every one must forget about the past quarrels and enjoy a lot in such kind of reunion.

Well actually the high school time is a long story for me now,and our high school's class even hard to get reunion because everyone locate different cities,so I just can meet several classmates in my high school for a small reunion.
So actually 20 out of 50 students attended your reunion is not bad at all,pls cherish your friendship.

we too had a reunion of my 10 th standard 2 years ago. many of friends doesn't came who are local. many came for this party from various places. i felt very sad and made my team to go in to the streets of the houses of my friends and made them to attend the party. but rest of the party was rocking. we have my teachers too along with us

I only attended one class reunion once, and it was a reunion of my grade school. After that, I did not want to attend any of it anymore since I think I don't have the time. One time I got called to attend the same reunion but I did not show up because of some reasons.

i hope even though its bachelor party and for a reunion i thought you would be ideallly ready to enjoy so much with old buddies but it went other way ,hope you enjoy a lot next time

I am not looking forward to my 10 year anniversary next year.
I barely had friends then but even those friends i have drifted from to the point I am not sure we are friends any more?
We were a really small class any wya, I don't think they would miss me.

We did our reunion but unfortunately only very few numbers of my classmates attended.Even the situation did not turn out the way we expected to be, we still find ways to enjoy and to make the moment a memorable one. We held our reunion in one of the famous beaches in remote areas in our place. We reminiscent the silence and the natural sound from the environment away from the stressful life in the city.

Last week I attended our get together of my closest friends since high school. We have fun though. But prior to that, there were too many reunions that I didn't attended to. When it comes to reunion, some people like to attend but some have their reasons not to be there.

That's pretty cool! What we had was very nice get together after so long time we achieved to have a reunion even though the participants were few. I think we were less than twenty at that time but we had a great time. Cool!

Every time I'm invited for a reunion with my batch, I refuse them. I always think about the outcome of the reunion and in my past experiences in attending school reunions, the outcome is always boring. There are only few who will attend and sometimes my close friends will not attend that's why I sometimes got out of place in reunions. If I got another invitation for a reunion, I'd rather go out with my close friends.

I have never been to a reunion, mind you there has never been an reunions, and I still live in the same area where I went to school, even if I was asked I would decline, mainly because I hated school and was badly bullied, the last thing I'd want is to meet the bullies from childhood. I won't even join Friends Reunited. I don't think even curiousity of how my schoolmates turned out after so long would get me to go. Sorry you didn't enjoy your reunion, sometimes we can expect too much and we are disappointed when it doesn't meet our expectations.

I have never been to a reunion from school ever.
I know they had some but since I been in America for 27 years and all the reunions are in Germany I could never make it.
it sure would be fun to see all my old class mates.

I met up with a few old school friends last christmas.Some of us had done well and some had not.The ones that had been lucky and done well were fine.It was the ones that had not achieved as much were jealous of the other ones, I left early. I still live in the same area where I went to school and see most of the girls on a daily or weekly basis anyway and we get along fine.I am glad you enjoyed your reunion in the end.

It was nice that you and your friends were able to get together and hang out. At least yall had fun together. I would have done the same thing. As far as I know people in my class were trying to get together for our 10 year highschool reunion that was like 3 years ago. But then they cancelled it. Because no one wanted to show up. I didn't even know about the reunion. I think in a way it would have been nice to go to my reunion, but I guess I'm glad that we didn't have one after all.

I've been out of school 13 years, and our first 10 year reunion was in 2010. I didn't go, and I honestly wasn't interested in going. Didn't have a lot of friends from my graduating class, and the ones that I was friends with, I'm still friends with now. There were cliques in my class just like any other class, but most of the people in my class are still on the high school mindset. I may go the next one, but I'm not counting on it.
