Suarez has scored again and save Liverpool the embarrassment of being held by Mansfield. However in the progress, he had invited controversary again. The crime, his goal came via an obvious handball to control the ball. And in it, cries of cheat rings around. Rodgers and Liverpool supporters have came out in full force to defend the player and ask others not to victimise the Uruguarian. They should ask themselves, why did the player keep getting himself in such situation?

That's part of who he is.. He is an awasome player but still haven't grow up too much in his view of the world.. but let us don't forget really big players also started this way such as Messi, Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo and etc. Just let him chance to grow up and give Balotelli one as well..

From the list of players mentioned, the odd one out is Messi. He is a genuine player who just love to play. When did he ever get in the news because of the wrong reason? That is why he is much more well liked as compared to Ronaldo.

i think liverpool now is not just luis suarez alone, since sturridge arrival liverpool have many option in frontline with suarez, borini or suso and sturridge, and i was also very happy to watch raheem sterling, he could be the next liverpool star.

I think it was a disgraceful goal. I think his look immediately meant that he knew he had handled the ball in and he was happy about. What's worse is that his usual goal celebration of kissing his hand looked like gloating over the act which further incensed the manager and fans of Mansfield. But, how in the hell the referees missed it was really a surprise!! Poor Mansfield, they deserved something out of the game. Cheers! Ram

I think Suarez is the living proof of the fact that some players are great footballers, but that doesn't mean that they are great characters too.Suarez may be a great player, but he cheated and it isn't the first time he shows his ugly face;why isn't he honest to admit that he cheated? The result won't be changed anyway, but if he had been honest he would have gained much more respect from soccer fans.As long as he doesn't change his attitude, and I find it hard to believe that he will change,he will keep on getting in such situations that will cast a shadow on his achievements on the pitch.

It may have been an unintentional handball, but he should have the decency to not celebrate. But the real fault is on the referee to award that as a legitimate goal. That is the weakness of counting on a human to make a split second decision that may decide the outcome of a game. It is just impossible for a human to make 100% correct decision every time. Goal line technology and video playback have to be there to decide if it is a goal or not a goal. We can not tell 11 players who had trained very hard to lose a game because the referee made a mistake. It is sad and it is not fair.
