I went into Sears with my coworker the other day, as I had to go to Walmart and it was close by. I grabbed a few catalogs, while she got what she had ordered from them. I was just flipping through them, and found a really nice winter jacket, and it was only $99.99 which isn't bad, plus $59.99 for the snow pants. My jacket I currently have was from Sears, and it has lasted about 8 years now.

That's awesome! That price us great if they stay in good shape for years like that. I guess u will have to throw out a spring jacket. The zipper came apart and I couldn't get it to unzip and zip back up again. It was a gift from Belk's 5 years ago. I loved it.

Normally they last about 5 - 8 years, so it is worth the money, and get's the wear in it. I would keep my old jacket, for work, and messy type situations. I had that issue a few years ago, it did last an extra year but hassle to do up and down again.

I have been considering buying a new winter coat--something a tad dressier than what I've been wearing. However, I haven't found one that I liked well enough. My current coat is actually a leather jacket that I swiped from my boyfriend. He says that it looks better on me than on him. That's good, because he's not getting it back.

I have a ski jacket and that's what I am buying, but I do want to get a fancy type jacket as well. But right now I am working on what I need right now.

That sounds like an awful lot of money for a coat but then again I spent about $20 on mine and I'm guessing I will only get one season out of it so it wouldnt probably even out to buy a much more expensive one if it lasted much longer. I would worry though that I would get it ruined or all stained after spending that much.

I usually spend between $100 - $300 o a jacket, it will last 5 - 10 years, depending. The one I currently have lasted a little less, as it was cheapier. I am not worried about stains, I am the queen of stains. My snow pants, have a nice oil stain up it from snowmobiling. My jacket has permanent dirt marks from wear and tear.

That's not really a bad price at all, I usually get my jackets from sears or di*ks sporting goods. Did you end up getting it or waiting to get the money?

I am planning on buying , once I get the money, maybe next pay or the pay after. I haven't decided if I want just the jacket, or the jacket and pants.
