Friends tell me what have i done why reputation goes down again ? It was yesterday i posted i wanted and wished it to go up but sad it goes down even today. Hu hu i asked myself what have i done ? As far as i can remember i responded kindly to the comments and i joined discussion with outmost care that i can not hurt anyone or offend or even violate some rules, but still i was given a negative rating , that is very okay ! It just tells us that we can not please everyone , and we are having freedom of expression , one opinion or idea may not be favorable to the other. Whatever you're giving me friends am respecting it , this is Mylotting all about also , respecting ones view and individuality.

Angelpink, don't worry so much. You'll be okay. I've given you + ratings before and I'm sure others have as well. And you'll get more in the future. mylot is a reflection of life. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. If you do your best, that's all you can do. Dry your tears and bounce back with the rest of us.

Some Mylotters are not only good in writing and discussing topics or issues but also so good in lifting a weak spirit and a good influenced in having a positive outlook in life. I realized Mylot is all about lending and grasping a hand also. So happy for your positive rating , good karma returns to you ! Cheers friend !

Relax angelpink. I know it is look great when we get 10 star. I still on the way to get 10 star. I see my percentage 94 now. Do not thinking to much about your star. Just do your activity here you will not realize you will get 10 star.

Yes , yes i guess that is the best thing to do than feeling bad why i am rated as such .It's true , better i will continue writing , not paying so much attention to this and that , soon i will wake up one day i am having that blue color.

Hi there Angelpink,
With regard to your concern, I guess, try not to bother much on that. As long as it does not affect your earnings. Perhaps focus more on how to increase up your online earnings rather than focusing on your reputation ratings. Though it can help you up but does not goes parallel with the amount of earning you might received at the end of the day. Thus, it is better to do your focus on much productive things.

Aira , am just bit bothered for in my mind i have discussed things which didn't violate rules nor said anything that can harm ones emotion. I am even so careful in responding and commenting but as i said we don't have control over others. Whatever is their opinion or perceptions regarding our works , we don't have a control over it but instead accept and understand it. Anyways this is not the end , this might be a call that i need to improve more in Mylot activities. Great Evening !

Lamb , good to know that thing ! Omg ! So it does affect earnings ! It is not really the color of the star that changes but just the score but it is clear it lowers down to 1 point but it is okay , this thing won't stop me from doing my best to increase my score and color. Glad a professor in Mylot makes things clear for me and to all of us.

We can never please all. I myself has stopped worrying about pleasing everyone. What matters with me is that I have to be me at all times. As long as I know I am doing right things the right way, I will always be peaceful. So, stop worrying now Angelpink. It is just that people do not use similar measuring sticks.

Yes , we can please maybe some but not all. This is just bit my dark side , so conscious about reputation and accolade. I always wish to be in my best and to look best and to give the best but i am opening my doors for those not favorable to me , that is there decision which is very respected, no hurt feelings at all. Of course not.You know, people usually rate something down not because it's wrong or immoral, or incorrect, but because they don't like it.It is impossible to please everyone.Look at Youtube videos,some great videos have dozens of dislikes under them or worse - nasty comments.So, don't worry, be yourself, enjoy your time.:)

Maybe , maybe Ladysilver , some rated us according to their mood and not basing in the content of your discussion or comments. Sometimes also , they rated you for that because of some reasons which only them would understand and loved. It is okay silver , what you said is the reality and have to live with it . We'll continue being active here , being responsible Mylotter and being a support for one another.

Well understand,since I had met the same condition before.
It's very common that we have dinfferent opinion or idea in different things.Since the expression is freedom,it's our right to express the personal thoughts.
If someone don't like our expression,they can point out,but that don't mean who is right or wrong,because we are different.
Just be yourself,we needn't to please someone that unrelated and don't like us.We should take care of the people we loved,that's more important.

Yes though we can't please everyone , this won't stop us from showing our kindness to them. Like Prof so kind to fellow Mylotters. I remember that Golden rule , " Do things which you wanted to be done to yourself. They give me negative . i'll give them positive. Cheers !

Hey friend don't worry about your reputation if some one is doing it intentionally marking everything you respond as negative then Admins over here will take care of that as it is mentioned in Faq
(myLot has taken precautions to significantly minimize the impact of rogue users harming your myLot reputation by repeatedly rating you negatively. In fact, this kind of behavior will only harm the user who does the inappropriate negative rating. To be clear, it is impossible for one rogue user to significantly damage the myLot reputation of another user).
So be happy and keep working as you are doing till now .all the best i hope your issue will be solved soon.

Prashu , that is what i am thinking before . The admin. will reevaluate the negative ratings of the user but Lamb gave some inputs regarding this , so our doubts and misconceptions are corrected.

As we have the freedom to express our opinions, so like we have the right to be behaved nicely by others. If there needs any disagreement with others opinion then we must do it being nicely and with due etiqutte. Stay well

Yes its okay to oppose and express your views as long as it is done with kindness , but we don't have a hold over the others behavior and personality. Whatever they show or share , it must be respected .Let us not forget individual differences.

I totally agree with you, everyone has a temper, we can not make everyone around us happy and pleased. Maybe we can try to do that, but if we can't, we don't need to feel guilty about it.

I agree with you, friend. We can't please everyone in here or even in our surrounding or neighbor, whatever we can do to do good to others. There is still a negative comments on us or those people that we can help will still not contented on what good to do for them.
Well, that is life and we need to continue the good things that we started. Life is full of many wonderful and terrible and this might be our basis to understand the opinion of others.

Life's one reality , we can never get all the yeses of the spectators , always there is a few no's . The best thing then is to evaluate why there is a no , do something then but never stagnate yourself in resolving this no but you got to move on.., still a long way to go. I never minded that and you are right: you cannot please everyone. I have a 10, but if it goes down I will accept it. People around here (and elsewhere) know that I´m true to myself. I never even check about negative ratings. I just post, reply, discuss, have fun. That´s what mylot is for me.

I come to realized whether we are having a score of 10 or 7 , it is never a guarantee that it would already be a permanent score , it will really goes up or down depending on how an individual took your discussion , we can't make them love or favors our discussion always and that is very much understood. We cannot please everybody. I remember what the great American President, Mr Abraham Lincoln once said, " We can always fool all the people some of the time. We can always fool some of the people all the time. But we cannot always fool all the people all the time." Likewise, we cannot please even some of the people all the time. However, we can please some of the people some of the time.

As you know it has all to do with users rating you. It is not just plus or minus it is also not rating at all. Many do not rate and this has an effect on your reputation. The more you participate the more chances are that your reputation will go down IF THEY DO NOT RATE YOU. Since you say you have done everything correctly then there is no chance that any one has rated you negative but there is every chance that they have not rated you. Take it in your lot and myLot happily!

Also inappropriate ratings will adversely affect the one who rates thus

So it is clearer now , those people who are not rating us have no impact to our decreasing reputation. So it would be the positive and negative rating which gives impact to our reputation. Hi Aries ! Yes it got no effect on earnings but it got effect in our self esteem and that self esteem can't be paid by any earnings . It is a different thing. it is the one that motivates us to move our hands. It vanishes the pain and tiredness we experienced while writing and discussing. Yes , no point in winning others approval and praise. Cheers !
