I just found out tonight that American idol starts tomorrow night and Thursday night at 8 p.m on Fox.
I am excited it is finally coming back on 
last year was the first year I watched a whole season and I plan to this year to. who else is going to keep up the season discussion posts

ahh yeheeeeeeeey... but I don't have English programs here... LOL. I wonder if it is aired here how can Thais dubbed it. LOL that could be fun. All English films here are dubbed in Thai.

awwwww I wish you could watch it to....maybe you can watch it online later I don't know how that works. but if you can't and you want to stay updated and informed you can always come here and check mylot. last year I posted after every show and I plan to try and do that this year.

that's true I'd rather watch it than find out from some where else.
I don't remember ever watching that season but I have heard about it and I think your right I think he really is more successful than Kris.

ahaha that's totally in irrelevant for me if I can not watch and hear them sing. the only season that I have completed was the time of Adam Lambert lol. from the selection to the final 2 with Kris. I was so 
every after his performance... hahaha my bet was Adams Lambert but of course he's gayso no one will have American Idol agay... but he is now more successful than Kris... (is this true hahaha i am not sure, I can see and watch him often than Kris)

I haven't really watched it since Season 1. Justin Guarini (runner up that year) was a local, so it was always on the news. But to be honest, without the original judges and having only really gotten it right a few times, it's really not that interesting any more. I stopped watching after Taylor Hicks won.

As long as Nicki Minaj is a judge, there's absolutely no way.
What I really liked about the old format was there was only 3 judges so that there couldn't be a tie. And why should the judges get a 'save'-it's supposed to be about the audience's selection of a pop star!

Yea I just got done watching it and I agree I don't like nicki being the judge either. even my husband isnt liking it this year he said she has already annoyed him.
I agree about only having 3 judges there is no need for 4.
also I am glad someone else agrees with me on that. if it's about "America's" votes then a save should not be allowed or available to them it isn't fair to the people that America actually does like and want to see win.

I do miss all the original judge's. I miss Simon Cowell the most tho.
I never really saw season 1. I think I saw a few shows but that was it. my grandma use to watch it all the time. I was just never really into all that much.
I think last year it was a good right choice made by the winner Phillip Phillips. but that is just my opinion. but your right there have been many times they have gotten it wrong.

Hello Crazzydolphin, that would nice, well for the sake of entertainment and nothing much to watch anyways i might as well watch the whole season of this show. if the contestants aren't as talented as the last season, there will be a lot of discussions when it comes to the contestants. of course, you can bet there's more if there's another fil-am that's going to be part of the top 10.

lol that is the way I was looking at it. there is never much on and at least it gave me something to look forward to each week. yes I'm sure there will be many discussions to come. I think tonight may be the start of the try outs but I am not sure. either way I know I am watching it this year. last season will be hard to beat but I am curious if it is possible to have a better season that last year.

same with me I get bored with contest tv shows but American idol kept me watching. it should be an interesting year with the new judges....but still excited to hear the talent that is out there. they already have 41 I think from New York. you take care also

I am excited to see how the judges are. I am sad that the old ones are gone but interested in seeing how the season will go.

I really want to watch every episode of american idol this year unfortunately I always have a bad TV signal. I was able to watch AI season starting from Fantasia Barrino up to Jessica Sanchez. This year, I moved to another house. I don't watch TV often because of the poor signal in our location. I need to apply for a new cable connection just to satisfy my great need for watching American Idol.

yes i usually watch every episode to but this last one my cable messed up and i was unable to watch it and it isnt looking good at getting it working by next week :( i hope i can because i love it and each show i start a discussion here on mylot for all of us. i hope that we both can get out cable working so we can see the rest of the season because it is going to be a good season with a lot of talent

hi crazzydolphin oh iI love American Idol to and wish they would eatch it down stairs too. I do not have a television so wish I did have it as I could watch it here in my room Maybe I can get it on my computer some e way. I really have enjoyed the last year of American Idol.

is there not a way that you can ask them to watch american idol downstairs??
well there is a way to watch the shows online the next day after show online on their website. that is what i am having to do because i am now no longer able to watch american idol either 
i loved last years show even if i wasnt all happy about the way certain people went home but still i love the show!!
