That type of clothing does seem to be inappropriate for an office environment, but personally I would have no objection. It would not distract me if I had duties to perform, which rather covers the whole day. I do not understand why anyone should have a problem with how someone else chooses to dress, it is a purely personal choice. If the men working in your office do not like shorts or hot pants, tell them they do not need to wear them.

Not appropriate though. Besides, women should wear modest apparel and stay respectable. Wearing sexy attire is not a basis for sexiness.

It is not just too distractibg. It is simpky not the proper outfit to wear in an office. Anybody who works in an office should wear something business-like.
