Hi there myLoters! Wondering how everybody is these days.i can say that I am getting fed up with this cold snap that does not seem to want to go away! I guess last winter we were lucky to escape without frigid weather like this. Somehow it made us forget why they call this area the cold white north! But Mother Nature decided to remind us that living in Canada means putting up with really cold days.So , for the last week, our day time hi,hovers around -20 C,or -4 F.Add to that the windchill factor makes for -33 C or so. And the dog still needs to go for his walk! It takes me longer to get all the layers of clothes on, than the walk. His paws freeze, and he starts hopping.Tried to put his booties on,and could not stop laughing.Managed to get him to walk, funny, but he was getting used to them.Had to stop a few times to put them back on. Cars do not start some mornings, but we try to do the usual.I just hope that this will be the last cold snap of this winter.I'll try to put up a picture on my profile. I am so glad to be retired, I really do not have to go out if I do not want to,( except the dog!) Keep warm !

I am hoping by now you are having better weather there. We have actually been quite lucky this yr. and been having really mild weather compared to most everywhere else. It does seem to get quite cold (low 30s) some nights, but not had any Snow or major freezing.

I live in Missouri and we had an ice and snow storm last week. It was freezing rain then snow. The temps were in the 20's and really cold. Everything was covered in ice snow and sleet. yesterday Monday Feb. 25 there was freezing rain the regular rain once again.I hate the cold and winter and wish it would be spring soon. Tho last winter was nice with not a lot of snow. Yes i agree with you on the mother nature thing lol. I also think mother nature could turn the heat on just a bit.
