Google's employee death benifits

Not to get too morbid here but read this http://news.yahoo.com/google-employee-dies-spouse-gets-half-salary-10-151928506.html I can't believe how well they are taking care of their employees families! This along with other perks mentioned would make anyone want to inquire about positions available there. One can only imagine a portion of these perks if one applies for Social Security Death Benefits if their spouse dies. Makes a person wonder if those are the benefits they give to the surviving family what other things (beyond what's listed) do they get as perks? Almost makes the retirement benefits of a civil service job comparable to those of retail / fast food ect employees which is next to nothing.

Wow i was reading this and i envy them. There are so many benefits and these employees earn so many perks man. I was working in a very renowned company, but trust me they never had much benefits in my country, they got a ton of perks and benefits for employees working in New York. I just wish i had a good job where i could earn benefits, life becomes so easy this way.

To make a good business, first you should take care of people, including your employees and your customers. People are the very one to make fortune and use your products. To encourage a person donate himself/herself to your business, you should try him/her as your family members, when he/she feel the love and the security, he/she can save time in thinking about to support his/her family and spend more time on his/her job.

Wow! that's amazing. I think if more employers treated their employees like that they would have less turnover and more dedicated employees!

I have read this before about several big companies. but since most are union companies Id say they had a chance to change things.
