Hello rose and welcome to mylot. It must be interesting for the little children in the kindergarten class to have a lobster as a pet in the class room. I have read about people having grasshopper for pets. I have eaten lobster once or twice in my life time. I don't expect to eat it again as it is too rich for me as well being too expensive.

i also think nobady would pet a lobster at home, it's even stranger than pet a spider or lizard.

It would be a bit creepy for me. I wouldn't pet a lobster. But at least the kids are going to get to know water animals, or at least one species.

You made me smile upon reading this post. I can't imagine having lobster as pet and I am not sure how long those creatures survive as pets. Anyway, since it is for educational purposes- then it's fine. It looks funny searching for a lobsters on the loose
