Less talented/skilled people making more money

How true is that? Is less talented/skilled people make more money than actual talented/skilled people? You can say that sometimes a less skilled person would know a thing or two about business more than a skilled person so therefore it brings him/her money. Can someone name a less talented/skilled person who was overrated and makes more money than a really talented/skilled person?

I don't agree with you. First of all: everybody has at least one talent. The question is: do they use it. Educations says nothing about talents (you are born with a talent or more as one) or skills. If you want to be succesfull you need both of them. And what succes means depends on the person. To some it's important to get rich, to others it's not or less.. they just want to feel great and feel the richdom inside of themselves. Making money is partly about character, skills, talent and for the other part: hard working! and not giving anyting for free, knowing what your priorities are and making sacrifices as well.

In most cases, common people without special talent will spend more time and energy on learning and working to match the pace of the talented ones. Though talent can bring a lot of benefits, there are still many things in the real world important to success while nothing to do with the talent, such as experience, endurance and good intention.

That's true, there's a lot more factors to earn success and money.

It always happens. We have seen so many success stories of people who never had any proper education but are now raking in so much money. I think luck has a lot to do with it.

hi! maybe I can name one, she's EL James, the author of Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. She's got so many negative feedbacks about her book, but have you ever wondered why it became so popular? I'm sure you have heard of her. If you search about reviews regarding this book, you would find more rants than raves. They were all saying that she is not a good writer, that her book is full of crap, and so many things like that, but still her books are best sellers. I'm sure there are other more "talented" people compared to her but why do their books do not sell like the book EL James has written? So that influenced me to read her book. When you said talented/skilled, did you mean the formal education they had? There are talented and skilled people who never went to school and are earning well compared to those who have degrees and we can't blame them because of that. It just means that they know how to take advantage of what they have, what they can learn, and they probably worked hard to achieve whatever success they have in life.

hi! I have another example, it's Kristen Stewart, this actress sucks, she can't act but look at her, one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Don't you just hate it? By some random circumstance this girl got her fame? I've seen Snowhite and the Huntsman, she's like Bella in that film, her stoic face is just so annoying. Honestly, she's a beautiful girl, but she doesn't have talent. I think she's better off as a model or something but not really an actress.

I agree with you on EL James being overrated and making lots of money despite the fact that she only wrote smutty not worth reading stuff. For me the author Derek Landy should get more credit than her because he wrote interesting stories with quirky interesting characters. But the stories he wrote is pretty violent. On top of that, he wrote an interesting and strong female lead unlike that woman from Fifty Shades of Grey. When I meant talented/skilled, I meant people who have formal education or they are self taught.

Your subject is very true. While some people may very well be as smart as they could possibly be, they don't make as much money as people who are smarter than them. Sometimes it's the job experience that makes the difference, sometimes it's work ethics, sometimes it could be a (in hind sight) very poor choice made by the smarter person. A pretty big example of this are people who are famous on YouTube. Some people do have a second job while posting videos on YouTube, while others who aren't as fortunate are still able to earn as much as people who have jobs in either manual labor or a blue collar worker.

My favourite Youtuber is a guy who plays videogames and make us laugh at the same time. And he's famous, I'm sure you might heard of him as well but if you don't then never mind. But I know that making videos in Youtube is practically his full time job. I agree that sometimes making bad choices can prevent us from making any money eventhough we have the skills to begin with.

there are so many people that their talent is on managing business. if you are a skilled person but you are lazy or your not lucky how you able to use it, its useless. "its hard to wake up someone who is pretending to be asleep"

I agree with Mike, there are people who aren't talented on the usual type of talents like singing, dancing, solving logic/math problems. But these people could have implicit talent that could help them in the most unexpected way. One popular example is through managing a business. It's a talent for me since not all are good at handling people and selling products or services. And above that, I agree that hardship brings someone farther than talent. A famous example is Bill Gates. I've read articles where Bill Gates had several hardships while he was young trying to find ways to implement ideas and technology. Not every company was buying what he is promoting. But he was willing to struggle and though he's not talented and an overachiever at school, he became wealthy through his great talent in business.

my example also is Walt Disney. He is the creator of a big world of Disney Land. Walt is not a talented person in fact he is a rank 15 out of 22 students in their classroom. thanks mr.Oxyde_gyabo

That is quite true my friend, that most people who are never having proper education or are less talented do much for their might to become successful whatever they like to do in life, but not stealing, yet they are good or might be the best in business circles. My friend brother was the black sheep on their family, yet he was the wealthiest of them all.He always tour around the globe, even the farthest countries are reach, just to make his hard earned money be disposed, because he was really super rich.

Yes unfortuntaley I have seen this happening several times. It really irritates me and I used to feel so unhappy about other people who were less skilled/trained/qualified than me got paid more than me. Nowadays I still feel that unfairness but at least now I am happy with what I do and I therefore focus on that rather than on the financial point of view.

I think it's true that there are people that seems to have less talent but still achieve more that skilled people since these people could actually have hidden potentials. I don't think these people who are less talented are overrated since they could have had hidden talents all along. Not all talents are from being smart or strong. Some people who claims to have no talent just don't know what they're good at yet. I believe being hardworking is a talent in itself because they continue to fight on despite struggles.
