I need to stop posting my frustrations!

Why because it usually gets me in trouble! I don't think when I do it and sometimes I don't think it is a big deal! Especially about work! I can't post anything on work,if it is frustration or not, without getting in trouble! I am not naming names and I am not insulting anyone! Sometimes I need to vent! If Fcebook is the only option at the time, then what is the point?

Hahaha, you know what, I really think you should stop venting out all your frustrations, work-related or not, at facebook because your friends will unsubscribe to your posts. Of course you won't have any ideas as to who sees your post, sometimes people don't want to see rants and negative things at facebook. I don't care about my friends ranting all the time. If you want to whine and all that, there are forums where you can discuss all those issues, perhaps here in Mylot. People here can give you good advice on how to sort things out at your work, I'm sure there are people here who are nice enough to hear all your sentiments whether at work or with your personal life. I used to have this friend on facebook who posts about her bad day, her complains about her friends, and other stuff about her pesonal life. I unfriended her because her posts ruin my day. I don't have anything to do with her life, but just by reading her posts, it just changes my mood. I know I sound so despicable here and it seemed like I don't care about other people's feelings, it's just that I don't want to have my day ruined by those kinds of things. She can pour out her feeling to her friends, if she have any, I'm sure she have. But those friends who keep on complaining just about everything on facebook, I hide all their posts. I know it's wrong for me to unfriend them so thankfully, the hide and unsubscribe thing was invented. Thanks Zuckerberg!

For my friends and family on FB the sun never sets. One gets tired reading their posts talking about their achievements and successes. It is not just rants even these kind of posts can put off people.

There is no sincerity on FB either way. I have lost interest. I was eager to connect with lost friends and family and I have now reached the saturation point there!

you did right, dear friend. there's no advantages at all for us if we write our complaint in social medias like Facebook or Twitter. i was so wonder how could people writing about their problems and tell to the world their feeling. i think online media is just for fun, not as our diary. lol. it's OK if we tell the world about how cute our baby is but complaining or even saying something bad about someone? nonono..it's so horrible. i had this bad experience. no, i did not write something about people but i told my boss about my officemate's status on Facebook. she insulted one of our friends but she didnt write a name. i told my boss who was be insulted? was she one of our friends? my boss said 'yes' and he knew who was insulted. then my boss gave warning to her. do you know what happened then? i was removed by her frim her friend list and sge didnt wanna make friend anymore with me though in real world. see, writing something bad or just complaining about someone's behaviour sometimes really messed up our real relation. so we need to be wiser in using our social medias to avoid us from permanent problems in our real life..

Yes, you need to stop posting frustration in facebook because people who are related to that matter can easily understand that it's about them. This will lot of problems in future especially when it cones to work. I saw lot of people who loss their friendship with others because of such posts.

I have not posted anything bad about my family. I think I did once and never did it agian. Lately I do about work. Most of the people I work with are on Facebook! So that is why I can't vent without getting in trouble! I rather vent here then Mylot! Mylot has become a little annoying, lately!

That's why I only come here to vent. I don't have problems like that here with getting in trouble. Lol. Its safer here to vent and talk about things. I personally am not a big fan of FB. For many reasons but mostly because of the drama...

I am on Facebook alot! Mostly playing my games and checking if anything new with my family who are on Facebook. I know there is tons of drama on Facebook.I stay away from it as much as I can! I rather vent on Facebook because I am annoyed with Mylot! Once in awhile, like lately,Mylot gets annoying! I get sick of hearing others complain about Mylot! Not just newbies but some of the veterans, too! So I am not keeping a low profile here the last few weeks.

me too, I rarely open my account there because all i see are the 24/7 bragging, ranting, and those neverending uploading of the same photos of the same faces. it's just so irritating sometimes

It gets us all in trouble from time to time. We need to learn what is okay to share but also what language we use when we do share it. Best of luck in figuring out those things.

Yes everyone seems to get in trouble on Facebook. I just seem to more then others! There of course alot of drama on Facebook. I try to ignore it as much as I can. I do the same here. Mylot has been going through to much drama, lately. So I try to avoid that! If I didn't I would be a basket case with both sites!

that's why when you vent, you have to be careful who the audience is. i come here to vent. the people are much more attentive, caring, and thoughtful in their responses. it's a wonder that you get any responses at all from face book. mostly what i get over there are a bunch of likes. i get a lot of likes.

I vent here sometimes. Lately I havn't because I am discouraged with people here. Some of them. I get sick of hearing some people complain on how people here are scamming them, how newcomers here want Mylot to be more like Facebook and hearing others try to help the newcomers how Mylot works. On Facebook my bosses and friends from work are on it. They are the ones who reply to some of venting and warn me to stop and think before posting! I don't even post much! It is very so frustrating!

I used to the the same at Facebook. And I would usually post quotes that are somewhat similar to what I feel. Then I realize that the people who may be reading it gets intrigue of what is going on with my life. And I just hate explaining everytime, most especially to people whom I am really not that close to.

no venting of personal matters in the FB specially if it is over done... If you are are my friend in the FB I will hide you from my Wall. I am tired everyday, working double and alone. I could never accept any ranting anymore. I think you should have someone to talk to about your rants. A listener instead of telling the whole world of everything. I do that with my sisters... I know that they have no choice but to listen to me.. lol

I'd say it's safer to rant here in mylot than in fb, so just post your troubles here and you won't be disappointed. Fb is somehow a personal account and there are people in your list that would misunderstand the post or doesn't like what you post and you might also misunderstand their comments, and since it's personal, it may bring complicated feelings like disapppointments.
