Paramore will have a concert here in Manila this coming 15th of Feb and desperately wanna watch it! Unfortunately,my mom called for help regarding utility bills at home. Its 30th, and the pay is not big enough. Im renting a room and gotta pay my own bills too, what should I do?

I think that you should prioritize your family above anything else. Don't you think that you'd have a peace of mind if you know that you have helped your mother with her problems than chose to watch the concert? We need to sacrifice our "wants" sometimes to give way to what is actually needed.

As I understand you live your own life, you are responsible for your own bills and income? If so you can spend your money the way you like. You have a certain budged (income) and bills to pay plus you need money to live etc. If you have something left over for something you want (in this case the concert) and you can afford it (without making debts or asking someone else for money this month or next month) go for that. It's your right and you deserve it as well.

You are the only one who can decide which you have to prioritize as of the moment. Use the importance and urgency matrix. What do you think will happen if you prioritize the concert over your family? Have a nice day!

It's really hard for us to meet our needs always, we can only hope that in the new year we can earn more money to solve the financial problems. Anyway, the bills come before the entertainment, it's my rule.

I know i becomes very difficult to cope up with your montly expenses and utility bills against what you get in your hand every month. Addition to this, if unexpected expenses comes in then life becomes miserable. This is the same case with me. i am not paid for last 8 months where i am working and becomes very difficult to take care of your basic necessities.. Hope everything will be on the track soon.
