Who Should Play Bruce Wayne in the BATMAN BEYOND Movie?

You know the show on CARTOON NETWORK, where Bruce Wayne is a tough old man teaching a youngster to become Batman (with newer new technologies and more of a 'red & black'-look than the old 'blue & black').
I would choose either Jack Palance (though I don't know whether he's still alive or not) or Bruce Willis---who both seem to do well in 'tough old man'-parts?

I haven't seen many of his movies, but it seems like he's still in the category of 'classic BATMAN' and not 'tough old Bruce Wayne.' I think of the part Bruce Willis played in ARMAGEDDON (I think that was the name of the movie---where he's a boss on an oil rig and his daughter is getting 'married away from him'?)
Has Statham done any 'tough old man' parts?
