To day I don't see her as often as I would like to she lives 2 hours away driving distance from me and because she works most days and have band recordings and gigs we don't get together very often! when she visits to me is like a ray of sunshine coming into my life! I know I have 4 children and I love them all! but with my youngest we can talk and relate in a way that only friends do even we are mother and daughter we have developed this relationship where we are comfortable with each other! can you relate to your children in any way? please share.

Well, due to certain reasons, I was never able to carry a child full term. But I do have a god daughter that I am very close with. She now lives in NC so that is a way far off, but back when she got married she said I was more like a Mom to her growing up than her Mom was which made me feel good. Glad that you have a daughter like this that you can share things with. Makes life seem a lot more fuller for sure.

I sometimes think what would have been like if I did not have any children sure I would have had more freedom and maybe more money but you know what? I don't have any regrets I Am closest to my youngest as she is such a loving person and always seems to bring sunshine into my life! my youngest and eldest daughter will never be able to have children but they have a niece and nephew and they dote on them. Thank you for responding.

Hi, I can understand your feelings when you meet your daughter. It is the happiest moment to parents when they meet their children. I have only one son. Now we are together since one month. Before he was away from us due to his job. At that time we missed hime very much. But we are together again and very happy.

I have 3 girls and a boy and I love them all equally but I seem to have a closer relationship with my youngest as she is very open and loving. Thank you for responding.

my ray of sunshine lives over 2000 miles from me and I never get to see her. Of my 3 kids I know she loves and cares for me the most. my son live ten minutes away and I haven't seen him in a month. my oldest daughter lives 30 min from me and she's always to busy to visit me...or even call. You are very lucky that your daughter made the time to visit you. i envy you!

I am always looking forward to my son home coming. When the kids left the nest I felt the void in my life. My eldest son just left for Bangkok today after spending only four days with us. He is stationed in Bangkok but travel around the globe in pursue of his career which leave him little time to come home. How I wish he is working nearby so we can see each other everyday. The short visit was truly a precious moment for me and we spend endless hours chatting to make up for the long absence.

I can see you truly love your daughter, and it’s great that you and your daughter can talk and relate like a good friends do. I am single and so I don’t have any children yet, but I and my mother are close almost like friends. It’s great to confide to my mother for all kind of problems or any question I have.
