Dear Friends I m n Indian since GOD did not ask me which country I want to take birth in ...... But I m concerned about, first ,collapse of law and order in India ,I think so because I keep reading almost daily some body some where is raped, murdered or looted,no one is safe in India ,since fear of police and all has gone from the mind of criminals in India....... Secondly,I m concerned about collapse of political system ,since politicians are busy fighting each other or doing everything wrong for getting vote or to set new world records in making money via corrupt means....... I m concerned since I m an Indian ,how do you feel about such grim situation prevailing in India....... Hare Krishna Ganesh

It is your country. I can not speak for you. but you know you have a very very nice country. Very rich in culture and tradition. so nice.. so religious. I just wonder how money became an issue to your country for this is an old one. too bad. I hope your country well.. your is the one of oldest countries... and very respectable in terms of culture and religion.

yes India used to be very good ,but I strongly believe that corrupt political and legal system in India has posed a major threat to existence of poor and middle class of India ....... Uncontrolled inflation has strengthen the naxalite groups and our PM Manmohan Singh has told publicaly that naxalite groups have succeded in taking support from part of societ....... singh is our primeminister and naxalites are Indian citizen who beleive that Indian goverment ruined their families and their life so they raised an armed revolt targeting Indian politicians ,indian armed forces and indian police and they get major support from Pakistan 's ISI for waging war against the goverment of India........ And more strange thing is that naxalites are spreading fast Hare Krishna Ganesh

I really don't 100% understand what you wrote since I don't know who is Singh, naxalite group and part of societ but ... it is sad however that India used to be so beautiful. I like to go there one day. and i still wish for India to be a great nation again. I have lots of good friends there too.

That seems to be the way of most of the world. Evil has taken over.

I think so. Because this past few weeks, I've heard a lot of crimes that had been occurred in India. And I guess this is happening because of the weak implementation of laws on that country. :)

Yes you are right the law & order in India has totally damaged. If Kasab and the terrorist who attacked parliament are given 5-10 yers to live for what they did.I don't think there is any law & order system in India...

Yes Indian judiciary is indirectly protecting ,giving food and shelter to tough terrorists probably because if they are left open people of India will kill them immediately ,this is one reason why major criminals want to come to India as laws here are very weak and to an extent justice here is on sold to the rich....... Every country is facing edge of corruption, even Media is a mafia type with less true news and more appeasement of ruling parties. Politicians are doing everything wrong to keep getting votes and Media is showing wrong to keep getting scores.

I think this is the right time to put the govt on track as elections are about to come. It's the time when the iron is hot and had to be hit. I think if narendra modi wins than there is some hope that it will change the condition and make it better. What you say...

I think situation is much more complex than you think ,Pakistan has been killing our citizen brutally but our army and goverment has taken no action beside threatening pakistan ,which has ensured that our defense forces will remain idle and get rusted by now sometime....... India has become dictatorship but we all are sleeping watching Indian goverment dictating disel price hike for next 22 months....... Rapes, burglary and naxalism shows our police and judiciary has rusted....... Electing Narender Modi will give small help I agree as he has done exceptioally well in Gujarat but I don't feel he will be able to rootout and change the outdated constitution of India, extra slow judiciary and corrupt political system of India....... People now a days do not have much hopes of things changing. See, how the government diluted down JanLokPal, and now Justice Verma recommendations!

Things are the same here and I suspect everywhere. We have let the politicians control our society, we even elect them based on false promises. Year after year goes by and we still believe them when all they do is manipulate us so that they can get power and prestige and wealth. The people have to DEMAND a change but we refuse to do so. We get the government we deserve through our votes and our acquiescence to evil and greed.

I am not an Indian but I share the same sentiment in my own country. I think that kind of situation happens in many countries. Here in our country, the lawless are doing their thing one after the other. I see news of robbers invading and killing very often. the political world is just as bad for corruption remains and disputes among politicians are in the news day after day. How sad!

I do agree with you that the Political system in India is nothing great to write about. Law and order is not in a good shape. Yet, people are getting awakened. Things would take time to change. However, we ourselves need to get reformed. How many of us are always honest? Or truthful? Are not we, the people of India ourselves responsible for not imbibing truthfulness and respect for others among our children, brothers, sisters etc. Are not we the people who violate traffic rules, and expect to get away with some penalties only. Or are not we the people who drink and drive. or are not the people who get female foeticide done among us Indian citizens? If we are to change the politics of this country, we all need to introspect and change ourselves first. Think of this?

Hello there ! It is true to our country also. Corruption here and there , killing ,murder , kidnapping are taking place . Even our famous and densely populated malls , bad elements didn't think twice in stealing the jewelry store in high noon and with the camera on and with the security guards around ! See how confident and comfortable are these people ? They are so confident and so fearless to our government and to our laws. Who's to be blamed ? I guess it is just us people because we keep on voting this corrupt officials .
