How Is This for a Money-System Overhaul?

Okay, you keep NONE of the money you make. You send it ALL to 'the government' (through the banks), & you get 'an allowance' from the government. An allowance the same as everyone else's your age---provided you're a legitimate citizen (as opposed to an incarcerated-&-unparoled convict). Where's the problem there?

This is how the socialists think.....We are not all the same...The ones that goes out and works and makes the money should be able to keep their money. That would be a way for the Government to completely control the people. their would be no more freedom. Why would you try to better yourself if you were living with the system that you describe.. No body would......

What makes you think that? Don't you WANT independence? I think that's why I first learned to read---not because 'the reading-fairy would give me candy' or whatever you think money is to grown-ups, but so that I could catch the stories without depending on a grown-up to read it to me! And what do you think freedom is? I'm sure you agree that freedom is 'having a choice' ... I don't want to pay 10,000 to 100,000 dollars a year to have a car, but--in Oklahoma City--you can't lawfully live that way. (Not that I ever BREAK any manmade-laws, just that I am forced to stay away from them.) I would rather have a job AND no car, but Oklahoma City is too s#upid to conceive of such a choice. You'd agree that freedom is 'having a choice,' and yet what kind of 'choice' is 'work or lack funds'? "Working for money" is almost as bad as 'pickin` cotton fo` mas`sa.'
