Wow, the media, especially MSN is fact checking Obama and in polite terms, is calling Obama a liar. 1. Both parties have worked hard to reduce the deficit by 2.5 trillion dollars. What the deficit is going over 1 trillion a year, there is no reduction. 2. Obama touted the creation of 500,000 manufacturing jobs, when in truth there we have a net loss of 600,000 jobs since he took office. 3. Car mileage per gallon has doubled. This is only the expected mileage in 2025. 4. Obamacare has helped to slow down the cost of health care. First, Obamacare is not implemented until 2014, so how could it, second, the growth slowed down in 2009 when the economy tanked.. Nice try Obama, but you are starting to even lose you own media on this. Thanks you MSN News for doing some good reporting for a change. I did not want to hear Obama's speech because I did not want to get upset by listening to his lies and spins. One thing I can agree with him on is on high education. By the time one graduates from high school, the student should have either a tech degree or an associate degree. I have said this for years.

I didn't watch it. Was at work. I heard he lied from the conservatives and that the liberals were so in awe they wet their pants and that the MSM didn't cover Rand Paul's speech, and that Rubio wanted a drink of water and somehow that was funny and made him look bad. State of the Union - F'd! sorry...I'm tired of being jumped on for disliking how my country is being filled with false hope and changing for the worse.

I listened to one part of speech on yahoo and all I heard was the congress need to vote on control for th e parents in last shooting and way back ro columbined nee d a vote this went onfor 10 minutes till I stopped the video. I know they need to vote either yes or no but get it out of te way so they can go on to settle the budget or what ever they do I think they need to take out of all the money we give to other places and we would be out of the red nad country could maybe then bring companies back here to put our people back to work!

I did not watch the speech or listen to it as everyday life upsets me enough these days. But I definitely agree with having a tech or associate degree upon graduating high school. Education has really gone downhill. We used to marvel at people in the 50s and 60s who were successful in business with only an 8th grade education but that was equal to what was a high school education in the 70s. Now a high school education is pretty much equivalent to dropping out in 4th grade in the 1930s. Students can't read at grade level, they can't spell and few of them seem to know how to use proper grammar. They can't make change without a cash register or solve an everyday problem without a computer. We need more practical education and graduating with a skill and a degree would help a lot of people and businesses.

The tides have turned against this Hollywood wannabe. I'm thinking that MSN is only doing this for ratings, they are a liberal media outlet, even if they report the truth they would never ask Dorkbama the tough questions. I wish people knew how much power they have over the POS in chief than he thinks he has over them. The American family would never use him as a leader for anything. I will be glad to see him go and I will strike any and all of his mention from every history book.

Obama loves the spotlight and definitely inflates his accomplishments. With regards to the figures he gives, they are there to fool the masses. Usually when politicians quote figures, they might not actually be lying, but they manipulate the facts to back their arguments. I actually don't agree with the education aspect though. I know that saying "more education" is always going to get a favorable response. Most people love to hear that, but don't actually think about what "more education" really means. It basically means nothing. Just sounds good. Are we going to start pre-school in the womb soon? Soon people will be in school for the 1st 25 years (or more) of their lives. Collecting debt while gambling that they will receive a degree at the end that will magically get them a decent paying job...if they can get a job at all. When people say that all kids should have the opportunity for a good education by going to pre-school, who is going to pay for that? Answer...Us taxpayers. As it is school taxes are the biggest part of property taxes and they want us to pay for more schooling? Just because people are in school doesn't mean they are learning anything. History shows that most of the entrepreneurs and companies that shaped the world were started by people with little education and dropouts. Vanderbilit, Disney, Ford, Carnegie, Bill Gates, Rockefeller, facebook, etc
