Since I got pregnant, I always dreamed of weird stuff, like last night, I dreamed that I was at the public washroom and I saw blood when I peed and at the other door, there was a woman who called me and told me that she had a miscarriage and was carrying the fetus. I woke up and was scared! Last week also, I was dreaming that I peed blood also. Why is that? Is this normal?

When pregnant you will always have crazy dreams. I had several where when I was pregnant with my daughter I would drop the baby down the stairs. With my son I had a dream I went into labor with him 3 months out and I had a few miscarriage dreams.

Hi chicgale, its absolutely normal as per my experience, I also dreamed like this in my first trimester but not now (I have completed 4 months).. you know, every body suggest us every time that what we should do and what to do not, we also read that first trimester of pregnancy is most risky and crucial period so it sets deeply in subconscious mind and as a result we dream all these stuff..nothing wrong with you, i also dream like it, sometimes i see i got slipped from stairs, i lost my baby somewhere in a crowd etc.. dont think too much.. think positive, be happy and take a lot of care :)

Is this your first time being pregnant? Are there any problems you are, aware of that need to be watched or addressed? This could be nothing to worry about but if you feel like this is something to be concerned about, make yourself an apt with your doctor. Hopefully this will always remain just a dream and nothing to worry about.

I think that weird dreams and nightmares are normal in pregnancy especially in the first trimester. You might be feeling scared something wrong could happen in your pregnancy. You might be worrying about having a miscarriage. You will hopefully not have such worrying and upsetting dreams once you get to the second trimester of your pregnancy. You might get more bad dreams in the final days of pregnancy leading up to your labor. I am sure you will have a healthy baby in your arms at the end of your pregnancy. Good luck and congratulations.

It is abnormal, nobody will dream of peeing in a public washroom except inside his/her own restroom at home, may be your dream is an indication that it is not the right time for you to visit any public washroom yet, it is better off stick round your own washroom for the time being if possible, something weird may happen if you ignore this early sign.

Hahaha.. lampar's unique answer.. :D but avoiding public restroom is a genuine advice as you may get infection from their, pregnant women are more prone to uti ..

I dont remember having weird dreams during my pregnancy. What I can remember on my second pregnancy is that I dreamed of Gerald Anderson and in my dreams he was the father of my baby..

I imagine when you are pregnant you do have hidden fears that can come out some way....they are deep in your subconscience and dreams probably bring then to the surface...hopefully you will get past this....must be scary waking up after one of these!

I think you are thinking too much on your pregnancy. That is why we get such dreams. It is believed, what we think the entire day and what tires us makes us dream about them. I think in the day, if you are not working try to go to some park where there are lots of children playing, where you can find good scenic view, flowers, birds etc. If too much snow then try to be at home, listen to some meditation instrumentals. Try to pray keeping your eyes closed. Read bible, read devotional books. I think you will get lot of books from Indian traditions and Japanese too. I find Japanese and Indian devotional books or books on being nice are really good. Also you can watch some parenting videos that teach you some very good things to do. But sitting ideal is going to get you such dreams and in turn it is going to stress you much which might lead to bleeding too. So better you keep your mind busy in very good and humble, devotional things which also creates good effect on the baby.

There are many explanation to dreams. Sometimes dreams can tell you what will happen in the future. Sometimes it is just a reflection of what you have been thinking a lot. In my opinion, you may have been too worried about your pregnancy. perhaps you have heard something about pregnancy from people around you and these might have increased your concern and you gave some thought on it. This can lead to such dreams though. Anyhow, I would suggest that you go to doctor for some checks just to feel safe.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your problem and i think there is nothing as u think if u are seeing such dreams. since u r pregnant u should not stress yourself by thinking about such things. we all get weird dreams and dreams have no connections with our personal lives. so u try to stay happy and cheerful and stressless all the time. What say?

maybe your just being paranoid that something might happen to your baby (God forbid) because of your past where you had a miscarriage. just pray and be safe always.

I think before going to sleep you think so much or you are worry of something. try to refresh yourself and it is too important during pregnancy to just think about good things, try to hear more funny things to make more laugh and avoid tension and do not be worry, replace these feelings with chanting some good words and if you change your feeling like that again you would not see that kind of dream.
