Here in the Chinese New Year we will buy some followers to decorate home. However, I just learn that actually some flowers are harmful for the cats. A man who had a cat and probably this cat licked or smelled to the lily. And then this cat's kidney went worse and finally died. So if you have a cat at home, be careful to put your flowers away from it.

Hi youless yes I did know there are some flowers and plants that are toxic to dogs and cats so this is a good discussion to warn people not to let their cars get into any houseplants as there may be some that are toxic. Also do not ever feed cats or dogs chocolate even if they do like it as its poisonous to them.

I also heard about chocolates because of a certain movie from other country wherein the lead actress is a werewolf who can transform into a human being and she will not eat chocolate. I just forgot the title but mentioned somewhere in the movie that she will die if she ate chocolate.

@Aries, the movie title is Blood and Chocolate and it was filmed here in Bucharest, Romania. I've watched this movie too but I only found out it was filmed in Romania when I met my husband.

Youless, it is good you start this discussion. This is my first time get to know this information from you. At least, now i know as why my aunt's cat always down with vomiting and stomach upset symptom. One of my aunts always have the interest to decorate her interior home with many types of flowers. She likes the fragrance smell of flowers in her home. I will let her know as to keep her flower vase higher, so her cats won't lick or touch her flowers.
