Hey Being a stay at home mam. I recently decided I needed a new hobby so after some thinking I decided I'd love to take up sewing. I'm really interested in making things more so teddies n plushies so was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some sewing patterns to get me started.

I know a family member does a lot of her sewing from downloading patterns. Fabric stores are very few and far between nowadays, as fabric prices went up and discount store clothing prices went down. Remember to make doll clothes from the leftovers and sell those online as well.

I have done probably every craft there is that uses a needle! But now... I am quilting. I had a thing that I wanted to USE everything I made, so after my kids grew up and I wasn't making any clothes or toys anymore, I went into curtains, pillows, home decor... now.. I am quilting full time. Okay, I am also making a dress from time to time for my grand daughter, but mostly quilts. Fun to make, great to use!

I found a website called fleecefun.com that had a lot of cute patterns for things to make out of fleece, which is quite easy to work with.
