Wow, she is STILL asking for outlandish requests...

If you haven't read my discussion titled "She is really taking advantage of things" or something along those lines, you should check it out before commenting on this one. It has more of a back story on what I'm talking about. Anyway, the girl Jessica that I'm talking about in the previous discussion is STILL at it! She is still staying in a hotel room that someone else is paying for and she says her house isn't even close to being finished. Yet the contractors are over there working every single day. The house fire was on January 11th but her mom was posting about it on Facebook on January 9th, which I think is pretty strange. On Valentine's Day Jessica was asking for gifts - flowers, candy, and shoes - and I just couldn't believe it! Then her birthday was on February 18th and she posted that she was disappointed because no one made her a birthday cake and she was asking people to bring her take-out food! This woman is absolutely insane. She also made a post saying that her step-dad, who created her Facebook page where him and his wife were updating about the fire, deleted the page because he was mad at her but she wouldn't say why. I think it was because he's seeing how she's asking for things that she doesn't need and she's just getting way too greedy about the whole situation.

I did read your previous discussion on this and thought this girl was ridiculous and taking advantage. Now It has gotten even more ridiculous. Sounds like they are just scamming people at this point. It has gone beyond greedy. help with just getting by is one thing but flowers, candy and shoes??? And weeks and weeks after the fire? They don't sound destitute. When you are down and out for real, you think of things like underwear, clothing, food, shelter. At this point, she has shelter and i'm sure enough clothing. Does she work? Do her parent's work? Someone needs to shut her off. I think I'd notify someone who matters. She definitly sounds as if she is scamming abd taking advantage. Flowers, candy and birthday cakes are not essentials and especially for someone that is old enough to request them on facebook. Are people really that stupid that they are still giving to her? You did say that it was a small community/

Oh yeah, people are still giving her money and material things. On her website, there is a long list of things that she wants (for example: new clothing, shoes, blender, microwave, water softener, toys for her daughter, cooking spices, decorative items for the home). I also noticed that she created a Walmart gift registry and she wants a $175 bed comforter, some kind of bakeware set for $45, just things she does not need. She works at Blue Cross with my aunt so I know she makes good money. Both of her parents work but I'm not sure what they do. Even her step-parents work and her step-mother created the website for her. She said on Facebook that an old friend is paying or their hotel stay, but she told some friends that her job is paying for it. I happen to know that Blue Cross is not paying for her hotel. If it wasn't for my aunt, she wouldn't have her job because my aunt put in a good word for her. They weren't even going to hire her at first.

That's just nuts. I would definitly be complaining to someone that could do something to shut her off. It is wrong and I suspect that it is illegal as well.

I've thought about doing that, but I have no idea who to contact about it. My mom says she sees this girl at the post office at least once a week and she gets large packages and brags about how people are sending her gifts from her Walmart registry. It's just disgusting what she's doing. It's been almost two months since her house fire.

It was just about time for her to stop her craziness. Did she ever think that people would be giving her all those unneccessary things? She has gotten out of control! Glad that his step dad deleted that page.
