India had put up the move of Aussies by taking the whole wickets and India had took time to take them which made Aussies to take 380 runs on the score card. Ashwin is the main player who had led India to have such wickets.
We people are much ignored about the move of the game. Lets hope game will turn to Indian side.

India won the first match today, and yes there was big hand of Ashwin in this victory. I hope he will keep his performance good in next matches too. India's bowling attack is dull from starting, but good to see spinners are doing already good from starting of this series. Keep up the good work Indian team.

Yes, Ashwin bowled well to enable India to win. However, second test match onwards, other bowlers too would have to pick more wickets and do their bit for India. Let us see how Bhuvanesh Kumar, Ishant Sharma and Harbhajan Singh fare.

Yes.. India surely need performance from whole team not from individual only.. As its a team play game.
I really have good hope on Bhuvanesh Kumar.. As he can be really good swingging bowler. He done well against England and Pakistan. Plus he can also do well with batting as he has done good batting too with his first class cricket career.. Hopping for best for team India in next match too.

380 runs is a good scope for Aussies on such a pitch. India has to get a good runs on their score card and should make sure that wickets do not fall down in this pleasent sunny day, not only on today but on the next day too.

Dhoni's double century and second innings good bowling by Indian bowlers has put India on track to winning the match. If not for new Ausie player Henrique's valiant knock, India might even have won by an innings.
Yet, now they are on course to winning.
They just need 14 more runs now, with Sehwag and Cheteshwar Pujara on crease. Let us see how fast they finish the winning runs.

Yet it is bad that India lost two wickets of Sehwag and Murali Vijay. Now, Sachin has hit two consecutive sixes and India is juts one run short of win. And we had a maiden over.

Yes, it is very clear from his words "I have never seen Chepauk with this much beauty". All the Australian batsmen struggled before him. At one time I thought that he will take all the 10 wickets. He was bowling with that much tight line and length.It's very good to him to bowl like this in his home ground.No one other knows this ground than him.

Ashwin has bowled very similar how Swan use to bowl. He must have seen a lot of footage of Swann. All off spinners can look up to Swann and try to bowl like him. So Ashwin has taken a cue from Swann and that has paid him a lot of dividends. Jadeja is going to play a crucial role in second innings. He would be tough to handle.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes u are absolutely right, Ashwin has got back India on the track and thanks to him that he has helped dismiss half of the players. He was not well supported by the other bowlers although but now i hope India can put up a big score so that it will put the Aussies on the back foot.

We people are speechless. It is the Indian players who need to tell about it. At present two wickets has got down and both of them are said as poor luck for both the players and the team .

I think Ashwin has been the standout bowler for India in this match. He should have got the last wicket 2 balls before he actually got it as it was plumb and how the umpire did not give Lyon out really bamboozles me. But still he ended with 7 wickets which is a great showing. Let's hope he gets a bag full in the second innings as well.
