How Far Would You Go?

Have you ever been just out of options. It doesn't matter how hard you have worked your whole life or how hard you continue to work, you are losing your home. Is there something you can do? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, homelessness is in your future. On the other side of town, there are apartment communities full of welfare recipients and section 8 receivers, and on the other side leasing agents tell you, you cannot apply to live in other apartment communites due to your impending foreclosure. What do you do? You can keep your job as long as you find a place to live, but will you?

Apply for assistance to stop the foreclosure. Has the process started already? Call every public agency and legal clinic you and find out what options you have. Sell anything you can to try and come up with the house payment. If you can't apply for an apartment, ask what you can apply for.

This happened years ago, I found my answers, but I am still left wondering how it happened with all of my good intentions.

Sometimes the best plan is not enough and sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. The important thing is to learn from the experience and not have to repeat it again.

I learned a lot. I won't be cheated again.
