Odd behaviour

When I got back from bringing my cousins dogs for a walk, I had to feed them so I was feeding them then left. I open the door, and some guy was walking up the stairs as soon as he saw me he turned around and went down stairs and opened an apartment and went in. I got in my car and thought odd, then as I was driving home I was thinking wtf. Now my cousin told me not to lock the door if I didn't want too. So as I was leaving I left the key on the counter with a note, saying text me when you get home (I know we are getting bad weather), and I just want to make sure she gets home, and the dogs are well taken care of. Now not to be mean but she doesn't have much to steal, her apartment is rather empty all she has worth money is a laptop, and flat screen tv. But she left me in charge for the week, and I would feel guilty. My friend also said she may have asked just to check up on them in the building.

if she didn't want you to lock the door, that is what i would say is odd behavior.

We livin such a small town, I never locked my door until the last few years when all the moronrs from the city move up here, and take over the place, I don't trust them.

We really never do what it is when we see someone that seems to be acting in a strange way. However, I do tend to think that your friend might be the one that is right in this situation because I don't know of too many people at all that won't have at least a couple people checking up on their home when we are away from home just to make sure that there is nothing that goes awry. That said, I don't think that I would have been able to be the person that didn't lock the door when I left because if something did happen, I would definitely be eaten up with guilt.

We can never be really sure of the people around us. Some would like that dignified people and yet they are the culprit! It makes me paranoid sometimes. I fell like not leaving the house coz of thinking that someone might just break into our house.
