Mama Fu's is a departure from the usual mom and pop Asian fast food restaurant. Mama Fu's is a locally owned Austin, TX restaurant chain. The decor is bright and offers an outdoor play area for children, which brings in the family crowd. I went there with a date before our movie and had a nice time. Guests can choose from a wonderful array of typical and innovative entrees or completely design their own. I started with soup and spring rolls. Since the Chinese fast food places in my hometown usually have the lo mein noodles premixed with ground beef, and I'm a vegetarian working on vegan, I was thrilled to be able to custom design my entree. I got to choose which noodles, veggies and sauce I wanted, it was awesome!
