This day is full of vijay and pujara

true, but today - 3rd day was a mixed day. pujara scored double ton and Ashwin took 2 wickets was good thing for India but Australia did well to not to take big lead in first innings, but still India is in good shape. Hope we will win this match as well :)

It was a wonderful partnership by the two youngsters who could be donning the India cap for some time ahead. Pujara has fitted into the Dravid mould very nicely. On the other hand this could be the making innings of Vijay. He applied himself admirably in the first session and cashed in big time in the next two sessions. I think with Sehwag losing his eye a bit, this is good for India. Cheers! Ram

Oh yes! They played superbly. All the top high profile cricketers (Sehwag) should now give way to youngsters. Vijay and Pujara have paved way for India and given it some chance of winning the second test too.

Yes, both Pujara and Vijay was awesome with their bat. In the absence of Gautam Gambhir Vijay performed well as an opener. Also Pujara again proved that he can be a great Indian wall in the future. Let us hope they will continue their good batting performance in the coming matches too.

my friend let Vijay play on fast pitches in abroad and then see. He is a T20 player rather than Test level. Even today he was chasing ball outside offstamps.He had a dropped chance too. Yes Pujara ,have the potentials to play good on fast pitches. He plays good on backfoot.

I think both Pujaa and Vijay are good test players. I think Vijay should be given more opportunity to play more test cricket since he has the potential to win matches and core high runs.

Of course, this day completely belongs to the two newbies. This innings from both these will definitely ensure their position in the team and of course will definitely rise their confidence level. Today they played it safely, giving respect to the balls which deserve it and sent them to the boundary which they require a treatment. Even after they scored only 49 runs in the first session still they managed to get 300+ runs at the days' stumps.

It was sad to see Sehwag not scoring.Even a fifty would have helped his cause.I am nto sure, what selectors will do to him for rest of series.He seems to be out of favor for the ODI and perhaps that could extend to test matches as well.Coming back,it was a great partnership of Pujara and Vijay.In fact it set the whole match in India's favor.Vijay played patiently and did not try to attack as Pujara did in one session.They were confident though Pujara seemed more.Vijay got more confident after his fifty.Hope he would do better in coming tests.But the most important thing about this partnership was this was done by two youngsters who are trying to cement their place in team.They have not played much recently nor they have become great players.They communicated well and played the partnership well to the maximum.They hit the bad balls and left the good ones.No risks taken and took the scoring rate well to the best possible after starting real slow.They raised the tempo after each session they played.It was definitely a great performance to watch.And given the last 2 years and the test failures we had, this was definitely a great treat to watch.Thanks!
