Why we lost to England, that too in our own backyard, is really hard to digest. Now we are winning against Australia which is more reputed and professional than England. What an irony! Maybe the small changes that we made in our team composition actually did the trick. Hope Indian cricketers keep the good work going.

My friend England is the 2nd team in world ranking after South Africa. They deserved that win. Australia certainly going through a transition phase. And believe me when India plays in South Africa at the end of this year they will lose.Do not put them on your shoulders and keep chanting.

This is not a team of Sourav Ganguly. Tendulkar is well past his prime. Pujara is not a Laxman . Ashwin is neither a Harbhajan of the past . Ojha hahaha nowhere to Kumble. And Ishant is not a Zaheer of the past.Yes Bhubaneswar Kumar looked promising. But only in early spells.

Remember England have quality bowlers. Paneshar equivalent to Ojha and Ashwin. And their fast bowlers are well ahead of the Indian ones.

The difference is Ravindra Jadeja :) India hasn't lost any test match since he is included in the side. other than this, poor show against spin by Australian team. English team did far better than Australia against spin attack. Hope they don't recover from here....

I think it is as much a comment on this Aussie side as it is on the Indian side. Hardly have I seen an Aussie side that lacks fight as this one. They have not really dominated two sessions in a row in two test matches. Also in both the matches there were nearly beaten by an innings. In the first test they avoided it thanks to the last wicket partnership!! Cheers! Ram

I think saying England is not as good as Australia currently is being way too harsh on the England squad. They are certainly in very good form and quickly rectified the mistakes made in the first test to bounce back in the series. It probably caught India by surprise. In case of Australia, they are in a rut currently and our bowlers seem to have regained some confidence which is adding to the Aussies' woes. It is surprising though that we we crumbled so badly against England. Maybe the the experience has helped the team to come back stronger and hopefully it'll continue.

That's the game of cricket. In my opinion, at present conditions Australia is not a good team but at the same time England is. That's why India lost to England. Australia is having most of their players inexperienced. They are new and almost 80% of the team are coming for the first time. Only Clarke is the most experienced player in their squad and we saw minimum one player will be a debutante. I would say India a won the test match not because India played well but Australia didn't played up to their reputation.

Slowly and steadily young uns will start making runs atleast in India. England team come here with a purpose. Their sole aim is to win against us. They have world class spinners in swann and panesar. If any one was playing India would have tackle but when both were bowling in tandem, India too find its hard to handle them. So the moral of the story, you need atleast two excellent spinners in your team if you want to beat India in India. Also you batting also have to be extremely good.

It's a simple answer and two reasons, England is stronger enough than India & Aus. also a balanced team of experience and best players and the other one is Aus. team looks like NEW BORN team from inexperienced department in Indian subcontinent also team India suddenly back in to their real form.
