USB Extension With Signal Booster...For Faster Internet Connection

This is what the store gave me when I asked them that I have some problem with my internet connection using the smartbro stick. It is a 5 meters extension wire which I can put outside the window to enhance the signal. I bought this gadget for $5 with a 6 months warranty.
This is in relation to my previously started discussion about my problem with my internet connection. So after reaching home, I immediately set up the device and my daughter asked me if she could use the laptop. Usually, starting 8 o'clock in the evening, we already lost signal in our place so it was taking her a long time to do her activities online.
When I asked her about the speed of her internet, she said it is okay. I hope the signal would be better this time. I could not put the device outside my house because it is raining so I just hanged it in an elevated place.

Is it because your position is far from the operator' transmitter? In my country one internet provider has one transmitting tower in every 5 km. So internet users living in a range of 5 km can easily receive strong signal.

There are more than one internet providers. Why didn't you try to have one that has stronger signal. So far I have relied on my Smartphone as a mini hotspot. It works well.

I also have to consider other things, like the amount I will have to pay for a new connection. I also have to go to work in another place so no one is left at home the whole day.
I am also considering to buy an updated plugin device but maybe in the near future. For now I have to try this new method that I discover.
So far, it is working good.

That sounds remarkably cheap just $5, usually at that price you don't get a very long warranty with it, so six months is quite generous. I hope you get a better connection speed my friend. It's frustrating when the internet connection is so slow. I have two computers that I use, my Mac is connected through ethernet cable and my laptop is wifi. I prefer ethernet as it's a bit more secure that wifi. I know I should be getting faster speeds that I do, but because I have my computers in my bedroom the socket is downstairs and I have to run an extra extension cable. But it's fast enough for what I need it for.

Some stuff in our place are really cheap as compare to other places. I am just trying this thing if it could sove my present problem regarding the internet speed. Well, if it did not work, I will be forced to apply for a permanent connection.

well I have never heard of this and I hope that it will work well for you I have never know of and thing for 5 dollars that will work for any computer no matter how old the computer

It is 5 meter extension wire and I have to attached it to my laptop then I will attach on to the other end my smartbro plugin device. I can position it outside my place in order to receive signal.
This is just a simple computer device and the saleslady said that it was discounted so I get it on that price.

Hi aries, its me again, visit to mylot again before sleeping, to be ready for office work tomorrow. Using extension with signal booster is one way also to enhance or boost your usb broadband stick's signal. Just position your broadband in an open area. You can try also booster application, just download it from the internet, there are free version also, and see if it helps somehow. Have a great day...

Hello again..both, morning and night. lol! It just happened that we have different timezone for now. =) You're much welcome, and no problem, if I can help,I will be glad to help you with what I know. I'm quite busy for few days, because of the web application I am working with, that's why I'm not always online in mylot, but I always drop by during my vacant time. There are available connection booster in the net, especially free ones, just make sure to read the review of the users about that application, don't worry, you can find the review along with the download link, and by then you can say that that application is working effectively or if it's help. Hopefully the signal booster can do the magic trick you so eagerly need, let's give a try for a few days, then only you can tell whether it is working or not, if the free wi-fi you are using right now is of very high speed connection, it will do you no harm by sticking with it for the time being without subscribe to a permanent home connection yet, after all, the only loss you could possibly get is $5 if the extension trick turn out not working well or within your expectation. Let us know later how every thing turn out, you mayhave got yourself a real bargain this time.

I am not using a free wi-fi connection. It's a prepaid plugin device. means i have to load before i could use it. I prefer it as of now because of my present work situation.
Yes, hopefully it works because I really need a faster connection because of my work which requires faster net.

I used to have the same problem with my Globe tattoo when I was still in the Philippines. It worked for a couple of months, then after that my connection fluctuates once more and I have to switch places like crazy searching for a good signal. It was good while it last but I cannot actually count on it that much. I hope yours is better.

I have seen those previous model of this smartbro stick and I also knew that those were slow in terms of internet speed.. Mine was bought last 2012 and so far it is faster depending on location.
So I hope attaching this signal booster would increase the speed of my plugin device so that I could finish more jobs.
