At last look, that admin post had 266 numbered replies, many of which have additional sub-posts. I'm not about to count every last one of them. The number of 266 will suffice. And that's not including the posts on the deleted discussions... Talk about a hot topic! I count it a banner day when one of my discussions gets 10. I wonder what is the most posts any discussion has gotten. Not that the number of comments earns the poster anything. Just curious.

I think for me it was 30, but I wonder too. Be interesting to know, with a regular member.

I have noticed that if your particular discussion gets into the today's hot topic section your responses multiply! I have always wondered, how does your discussion manage to get into that section in the first place?

Admin posts do really generate a lot of responses. I haven't actually come across a topic from a member that got hundreds of responses especially of late. Years ago I think I came across a few. Oh, well, I myself am already satisfied if I get more than a page of responses.

I was happy to see myLot so active during these 4X days. It is not yet a record for an admin discussion -- this one from Crash got 287 responders : http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1402356.aspx --, but a good candidate !
