I am going to arrive in Prague the capital city of the Czech Republic in the fairly early morning off an overnight train. I will store my luggage in a locker all that day then get my baggage out before I take the evening train to Krakow in Poland. Prague and Krakow I visited in 1996. I wish my trip to be mostly visiting countries I haven't yet been to before like Ukraine and Moldova. I can sleep soundly on an overnight train journey and arrive feeling refreshed in the morning. Accommodation prices in Eastern Europe used to be very cheap but not anymore in a city like Prague. I like to stay in cheap guest houses. I am very much a low budget traveler. I will be traveling with lightweight luggage. Would you like to travel overnight on a train or a coach? If so do you think you would arrive feeling refreshed? Do you think you would be comfortable storing your baggage in a locker then going off sightseeing?

I went on a Sleeper from London Paddington to the West Coast, and I remember we had to be out of our cabin very early, now bear in mind I am not a morning person, I got out of the train and onto the platform half asleep, I wanted a long hot shower and hot coffee. I thought it was exciting travelling on a sleeper, but there's nothing to see, and the beds were small, I am six foot two and very uncomfortable, I only did it the once. I love trains, but sleeping on a train is a no no for me.
