Someone from our company has gone missing

I am not sure if you guys have heard about the news already, there was this woman who went to the Internal Revenue office and submitted company requirements. The Bureau has advised they received the documentts and the woman came tto them and left.
But her two phones are not working anymore and its almost 48 hours that she has gone missing. The company is helping her family find her, her photos have been in the news, and if anyone has seen her they could have already told the police or the company.
My thoughts are with her and i am hoping for her safety. I am just confused now because I always pass by the siite and there are always a couple of people in there, so it is less likely (as per my understanding) that she could be abducted in there and not be noticed. I think she probably would have ridden a taxi and then that is when she got missing. It is really very impossible that she would be missing especially that if she would just shout while being taken, then the people would have helped her.
I do not know anymore, but its just making me feel more unsafe. =( Its just near our place and I really hope that she is safe and would come home to her family already.

You can just imagine how unsafe we are now, no matter where we go, we just seem to be always in danger. But how can we really be safe? Sometimes, it is just by chance that things like this happen.
But I am hoping that the woman comes home safe. I am sure that the family is so worried.

In the news, it was said that they have found out through an investigation that she was working for another group or company as an independent accountant and she got 500,000 in pesos worth of tax due by the company. a portion was already received in the BIR according to reports but the company said they gave her more than what she has paid. however i am sure this is still not enough reasons for her to have gone missing.

And what could be the possible motive for this to happen? I mean, does she wear jewelries all the time that could attract ill-minded people? Does she know anything about something that might make her the squealer of a very sensitive issue?

I also agree with you in what you think. That's most likely what happened to her if she's still missing as of now.
As to the BIR having a connection with her case as missing, i think there's no motive for them to do that.

Hi Simply! its something that i think is a worry to all of us because she was last seen in the BIR but then no one can tell where she's been and what's happened to her now. I wish that she got lost, or whatever and nothing bad happened to her.
My officemate said if she was abducted, there are many ways people would be able to do so without causing a scene and perhaps she was captured that way... =(

I was watching the news and she was found already. they said that she was already found and her family is on their way to find / fetch her from where she was found. I was just wondering what had happened and how come she did not contact them for almost 5 days!!! she made her family all worried.

there was no ransom and there were reports that she has already been found.(thank God) but they haven't said anything yet to confirm if she was abducted or if she was on her own. she's been said to have been found in Baguio city, and that's for sure about 10 hours travel from where she was last seen!!

I hope sheis good, there are reports of what she is doing before and what probably was the reason.. personal and not really a random abduction. still i think they should try harder and find her soonest time. its already 5 days and there are no updates. =(

hi johndur... but you can't escape that. usually we will just have to go out on our own, say going to work and coming home from work. I do not know but i would just try to be as safe as possible and always be where there are people who can see you.

i heard the news about the missing employee. it is indeed scary that this abduction happened at broad daylight. just this morning i read an article about this incident. it appears that the victim was pushed inside the van and tied up and blinfolded. she was brought to an undisclosed location after hours of travelling and then was locked up in a room. she was found this morning roaming in the rain near the mansion, one of the mor epopular tourist spots in baguio. here is the link to the article, http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/378853/missing-abs-cbn-woman-turns-up-in-baguio-city.
i do pray that all is well and the woman and her family and loved ones survive this ordeal. i know that everyone is glad that she is already safe and out of harm's way but there is still the matter of bringing the perpetrators of this crime to justice and of course there is still the recovery process for the victim and her kin.

Hi allen, yes working here for a few years now (basically new compared to others who are here for almost a decade. ;)
It was a sad truth that she was indeed abducted... she was missing and was lost to people - i am glad though that they did not hurt her and she was let go and was now safe in a hospital recovering.

With the spate of kidnapping for body parts nowadays, it is most certain your co-worker fell to that syndicate. I hope I am wrong and she may turn up one of these days. Maybe she is just around being delayed on some important matters that needs immediate attention. Let us keep posted on this another "missing person" happening.

Hi rogo! there is an update just about 2 hours ago and said she was found to be in Baguio city, and that's a province 10 hours of travel from the city she was last seen. i have no idea yet where and why she got there... and the details as it was not stated in the link (news) i posted above.

I feel so worried about the girl, lets hope and pray that is fine, this is scary really, it seems that even in public place that has a lot of people things like this happens. We not go alone, we have a chaperon when we are going to a certain place. My instinct is saying that she will go home.

I hope what you are feeling is what will happen. I am all hopeful for that too and my hopes are that god will guide her and if she was abducted, i hope they will grow a conscience and just set her free. I am sure her family is so worried now for her whereabouts.

I also heard this news yesterday about the missing staff in ABS. The police has no clue if she was abducted because there are no evidencence for the issue. I also cannot comment because I do not know what happened. I hope that she is safe and will return to her family soon.

I am all but praying for her safety as well. Everyone's confused about what haad happened to her and its no ordinary case, I believe there is something to this but then we see and feel no one seemed to care as much in the government - thinking she might have just eloped, but then i know there is something wrong, her family is not being contacted to pay for a ransom, and there are just so much more that is needed to be answered. =(

I've heard about the news too. Let's just pray that nothing bad happened to her. Reports says that she is a very diligent worker and a friendly person. It also added that she is not the kind of person who leaves without having someone knew where she would be. I will pray for her safety too.

I am hoping that she will be found and that she is still safe and okay. Its been quite a number of days already and I know that her family is so worried about her already. I am scared for her and for the others who might be exposed to the same danger.
