Newbie to myLot

Hello everyone, I am a Newbie to myLot, (Less than 24 hours old) and still trying to get the hang of everything here. I would certainly like to have more friends (currently 1 and I don't even know how I managed to get that one, but I'm grateful all the same). I might have missed something on how to locate friends, send friend request, etc... Please help?

I've been a member for 2 months and now I still don't have any friends here hahaha. I don't know why there is not even one who wants to add me and I don't know either why I don't add anyone. As long as I can give comment to any of my topic of interest, I'll be fine. And as far as I know, there is no additional credit if you have a lot of friends. I mean, it will not add to your income.

Thanks donatello123. I want to add you as a friend, so what if you don't make more by the number of friends you have...I personally just like the social interaction with people outside of my own home, city and even country...it's pretty cool! Not to mention other people's insights and opinions on various topics. There is just so many to choose from...where to begin??

don't worry, you will build up your friendship list in no time. just keep posting and responding to post. that's how i get all of mine. that's how you got this one. lol. welcome and happy mylotting. be sure to read the rules and be familiar with them. there are not really unreasonable. it's just that you want to make sure you post don't get deleted.

Hi Antionette! Welcome to the club , this is just not a writing site but this is a community !You made the right decision to be here ! This is a good , credible site and people are superb here ! Each and everyone helps the other. All is very kind and accommodating . The administration is very lenient too ! All you need to do is to read the FAQ's well and start posting a discussion or join a discussion now. At first we feel to so comfortable , don't you worry , you are still adjusting but later on you will learn to love the place. Cheers !

Hi Angelpink, Thank You for the welcome. I'm already starting to get "the hang of it..." I think...? With how helpful and nice everyone has been, I'm pretty sure that if the faq doesn't help or leaves me feeling just as lost then there is a whole "Community" out there very willing to explain and help. I have already felt very accepted and received help from you and others just by asking this question.

Before I congratulate joined in MyLot, hopefully you can enjoy and live it all with the feeling of being excited. Yes, it is natural for a beginner because it used to be when I was a novice feel distress. Maybe I can help a little for you. If you want to send friend requests, you can just open the page you want to invite, and then press ' add as a friend ' under the photo. Hope it could help you.
